A new research from Oslo University focuses on a new combination therapy for prostate cancer that uses a checkpoint inhibitor and an IRE1 blocker called MKC8866.

Should T4 still be within range when on combination therapy? Does it sound right that I should be on the same dose of Levo now during combination therapy as I was before adding in T3? No meds taken before early blood draw.

A multi-drug combination therapy including TH inhibitors should be further explored in clinical trials in PD patients.

Hi, When on combination therapy does the amount of T3 you take impact the conversion of T4 to T3? For example, if you was on 75mcg T4 and 20T3 would the conversion of the T4 be worse if you increased the T3 to 30mcg of more?

This new combination therapy resulted in 43% of patients experiencing disease regression and showed increased survival rates. The study was conducted on 15 patients, and further research is needed to confirm the findings. The combination treatment was well-tolerated with no reported side effects.

Is there data/medical papers I can give my doctor as to why T3 is suppressed on combination therapy? I have tried looking at the Nice guidelines but they all seem against using combination therapy.Thanks Sue

I have been on combination therapy for about 7 weeks. I have noticed I am quite breathless and this looks like it can be related but unusual. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Just seen endo (well endo's registrar actually) and started on T3/T4 combination therapy.

I will be starting a combination therapy trial through Yale using B.A.T. And Provenge. This is the first time I’ve heard of such a combo. There are only 6 of us in this trial. Is there anyone else on this trial or have any experience with using both treatments?

Please share your experience NDT vs combination therapy. Currently I am on combo but still have symptoms (I have no thyroid). I am doing better on combo than on T4 only. I want to try NDT and see if it will make me feel better.
