Mesalamine suppositories
Hi! I just underwent full colonoscopy and was diagnosed with mild proctitis ( only symptom prior was rectal bleeding with bowel movement) and I was prescribed mesalamine suppositories. My bowel movements have had way less bright red blood which was my main symptom before - but now smell very strange,

Asthma combined with other conditions?
I have had asthma since I was 19 and next month I am 50. About 3 years ago, I was diagnosed with Obstructive Sleep Apnoea and another related condition beginning with H? I have PolyCystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia. Lockdown has been difficult in terms of staying active

They’ve arranged a
colposcopy
to deal with the cervix in a couple of weeks but I just feel like it’s so much information to process! Has anyone had a septated uterus and if so did you get surgery to fix it? He’s suggested in the future to get the septum removed to help with fertility!

Calprotectin >2000 (second time in 3 years). No diagnosis yet
Hi. I have had IBS symptoms for 14 years, but 3 years ago, after multiple GP visits due to dirrahea and occasional blood in stool, I was offered a calprotectin test. The result of this was >250, so I was referred to gastroenterology. I then did the test again and the result was >2000. I was referred

I planned on taking my family to Universal Studios later this year if pandemic subsides could this cause additional issues from the

Alternating ibs
Hi, I’ve suffered with ins for a long time now, been for tests etc and all clear although the last colonoscopy I had they removed quite a few pollops. I would say since then (a couple of years) I’ve really struggled with it. I’ve tried tweaking diet but only to find that what’s good one week isn’t good

Rectal bleeding but clear colonoscopies (internal hems)
Hi everyone, I’ve had bright bleeding for around 2.5 years now, it can coat the stool, be on wiping and sometimes drip into the bowl. When all of this started I had 2 colonoscopies and an endoscopy which only found internal hems. I had banding done which helped a little but around 2 months later the

Colonoscopy + immunosuppressants not working?
Hi all, got diagnosed with Crohn’s last year via MRI and ultrasound. Been on budesonide for 2 months and azathioprene for 6 months, however just had a colonoscopy yesterday as it was delayed due to covid. The colonoscopy showed that my ileum looked pretty bad despite medication with fissures, ulcers

First post....... I just need guidance I think!? I don't really know what I need!? Just need to talk..... really sorry for LONG post!
Hi there I am a 49year old mum and have always been a drinker. I have been drinking for about 25yrs, with a few breaks in between (pregnancy and was drinking less when the kids were small). But the five years or so before that I was a very heavy drinker (everyday, and a bottle of wine.... at least)!

Diverticulitis diagnosis
Recently diagnosed with uncomplicated diverticulitis, spent 4 days on IV antibiotics & fluids only in horrendous pain. Released on day 5 as pain was manageable (their words) & told to eat low fibre diet for next week & then to eat high fibre diet. I have found that white bread brings back cramps & bloating

Constipation, and pain in gallbladder area.
Pain in Stomach and gallbladder area, with constipation. Mucus in stool and the occasional blood. Had many blood tests, colonoscopy, stool test and just had ultrasound that found polyps in gallbladder. Would like peoples to see my stool to see if anyone has had similar symptoms.
