I sat here 36 weeks pregnant aged 35. Diagnosed with PCOS at 16 I went on the pill until I was 33. Came off and my periods were anything from 37 days to every 3 months. Making sure you reduce your BMI is key and a low GI diet will help.
I took Myo-inositol for around 7 months or so, my periods seemed to come 37-40 days then randomly I had a 3 month gap, then another late 30s, then magically ovulated a week before I was due to and I didn’t know. This is our baby ☺️
We had just been referred to the fertility clinic to try and get meds to regulate my cycle.
I would say all of the above helps. I did ovulation tests although in reality they are not accurate if you have PCOS, I did invest in clearblue ones the month I got pregnant but ovulated early so missed using them and only noticed when my temperate rose a few days later.
temping was well worth it and for me to know I was ovulating (when my temperature rose) put my mind at ease. Temping and irregular periods are no good for timed sexy times mind you.
14 months and a random early cycle, and a relaxed weekend morning in the end after all that. I’m forever grateful. Take them to-inositol though and best of luck xx
