Anyone here have a heart issue before transplant? In testing they found I have AFIB but have been cleared for transplant. One more test to go a colonoscopy. A few more immunizations.🙏🏻

No, but if I remember right from the basic EKG class I took, the heart has the same kind of filtering system that the kidneys do and somehow when that system breaks down it can cause abnormalities in heart rhythms like AFib. So I would bet that getting you a working kidney would help alleviate what's going on with your heart. (Don't quote me on this though -- I'm not a doctor. Just a fellow kidney recipient and EMT.)
