Blood in stool

Has anyone experienced blood in stools while taking Ticagrelor . I’m on the waiting list for a colonoscopy as I’ve been passing blood . This has only happened post heart attack .

Sorry can't help but always just told if stools dark or show blood seek medical help. 111 may be able to help what does it say on the Medication notes for Ticagrelor ?? is it a side effect ??

GP said initially was likely to be the medication but did bowel screening test just incase . That came back positive (showing blood) so go wants me to have colonoscopy just to be sure. From what I’ve read less than 1 in 1000 have blood in stool due to Tricagrelor x

Hi

I had big GI bleed about 3 months after stemi and stent. Had two weeks full board in hospital. They stopped my aspirin and changed ticagrelor for clopidogril and have been ok since. Had endoscope, colonoscopy and pill camera but they couldn’t find anything!
