Hello

Does anyone here have any experience of Frozen Pelvis ? I am 54 menopausal for reference so my fertility is not at issue here , I had a hysterectomy at 24 after 2 kids.

I was recently diagnosed with Frozen Pelvis . I have been suffering from gut issues for many years . I E seen many Drs - finally went private and have seen 3 specialists . SO after colonoscopy showed nothing, I was referred to a gynaecologist. I had an Internal ultrasound and it showed very large cyst on one ovary nothing showed on other . A date was set & last week went in for removal of ovaries where it was discovered I have extreme adhesion fusion in the cavity where my organs are. The surgeon could only access ( after a long protracted effort ) one ovary this also had a cyst

So now I wait, another operation with the added shock of having to have a Stoma bag because it’s really severe and adhered to my bowel and there is no chance they can get the tissue out without damage - hopefully it’s temporary but it’s not known .

I can’t offer much in the way of information or sharing of your experience but can only reach out to empathise with your situation. The shock must be huge and will take time to unravel. Am sure others will begin to see this with more relevant experience in the days to come until then sending you hugs 🤗
