Colonoscopy expierence
So I was done with my colonosocpy . I was given sedation so I did not remember what happened ... the prep was harder than I expected because I did not drink or eat anything that day . I only had sipped on few spoons of electrolyte drink and 2 tea spoon of honey because I ended up being too cold and

thank you everyone for your responses earlier! I really appreciate it! I can have liquids for the 30 hours leading up to my procedure. Just no solid food. I’m really anxious about it. The prep I am taking is called Clenpiq. It’s cranberry flavored. Not sure if anyone else has had experiences with

GETTING COLONOSCOPY While on Rybelsus etc
You're not told, when you start any of these particularly Rybelsus, that it can interfere with your
colonoscopy
. Four weeks after starting the medication I was informed that I needed a

Anesthesia, Ablation and Colonoscopy
I have my ablation date set and 2 weeks later I have a
colonoscopy
booked. I normally don't do we'll with the anesthesia and was wondering if 2 weeks between the two procedures is long enough. Thanks for your feedback.

Portal Gastropathy
Howdy Folks, I had a gasttoscopy and
colonoscopy
on Friday and receives some disturbing news. However, little background context is in order first. I had an abdominal ultrasound in December and all it said was mild fatty infiltration of the liver.

Mild TI inflammation
Did anyone have anything similar in their
colonoscopy
? The main reason I'm asking is that because I've had two colonoscopies before the biopsies have always come back normal but with this one the inflammation in the has been seen, so I'm hoping it shows something.

can understand your concern but try not to worry. For me the worst thing is the bowel prep. Ensure you’re near a loo! During the procedure I was shown how to use gas and air effectively and it really worked well for me. I also had sedation- don’t be brave! I was given Buscopan at the end of the

Extrapred for colonoscopy?
I would appreciate advice on whether I should add to my normal 3mg for the day of a
colonoscopy

Colonoscopy v Colonography
Has anyone else been told they have a loopy bowel and it is not advisable to have a
colonoscopy
anymore. They recommended ct colonography, but i am worried about the amount of radiation this needs. Apparently 2yrs normal exposure in one go. Anyone else had this predicament?

Diverticulitis
Just been diagnosed with diverticulitis after
colonoscopy
, luckily no cancer found. Unfortunately I’m having to wear pads as I am experiencing “leaking” after a bowel movement. Any help with diet or tips, I would appreciate, as I am reluctant to take Loperamide on a regular basis.

colonoscopy prep/polyethylene glycol
hello, I am scheduled to get a
colonoscopy
this week. I picked up the prep solution from the pharmacy and began to read about it on the internet. I’m afraid to get the procedure because of the possible side effects and kidney damage.

Terminal ileitis
My
colonoscopy
found mild inflammation in the TI area which they said looked like Terminal Ileitis. Biopsies were taken but they came back normal. I haven't discussed the results with my consultant yet as I had to give in a stool sample to check the calprotectin level first.

Prepping for Colonoscopy with Dialysis and Diabetes
Her PCP sent her to see a GI specialist for a second opinion and they’re recommending a
colonoscopy
, which will require her to drink a lot of liquid and avoid solid foods 24 hours beforehand.

colonoscopy and endoscopy concerns
I am scheduled to have a
colonoscopy
and endoscopy in 1 week. My last
colonoscopy
was 8 years ago and the two colonoscopies before that found nothing but hemorrhoids ( all colonoscopies were pre CLL diagnosis in Oct of 2017).

First time Colonoscopy
I have my first
colonoscopy
on Thursday the 14th. I have been given Picolax. I am concerned about the prep as my friend told me you don't have time to get up the stairs to the toilet, and I should stay upstairs after taking the prep solution; is this correct?
