Side effects... temporary?
Hi everyone, Hope someone can advise.... tiotropium is causing tingling in my fingers and toes, should I continue taking it - with the hope it’s only temporary - or stop taking? Also does anyone know of an alternative to this drug which is in Spiriva and Baltus. Thank you Dxx

Did you know we can’t have cold medicine with anxiety/depression meds?!
Yesterday I developed quite the cold and decided to take some Tylenol cough cold and flu medicine. If you’re on an SSRI (Paxil, Prozac, etc) DO NOT. Apparently the dextromethorphan in medications like Tylenol cough cold and flu can cause a bad reaction called seretonin syndrome? Who would’ve thought!

What is the best first-line treatment combination for CLL?
I’m taking the liberty of cross posting this post I wrote from the UK CLL Facebook group. I’m trying to get my own head round what are the best first line treatments for CLL. Not least because I know that I’m obviously quite likely to need treatment at some point. I believe in the power of many

Potential Prograf Shortage?
There is an article in the Business & Money section of today's Sunday telegraph about pharmacies having trouble in supplying some key medicines. The article comments specifically on Epipen, but also "specific treatments for a host of serious conditions". This concerns me as having had a liver transplant

Monoclonal B Cell Lymphocytosis
Seeking some input on starting with MBL and then becoming CLL. Recent blood tests led to a diagnosis of MBL, and my count was 4,800. The Hematologist said a person isnt CLL until the count reaches 5,000. I also know that only 1 to 2 percent of MBL patients reach CLL per year, which is pretty low, but

Advice on recovery time and pain?
Hi I was hoping for some advice on recovery time and pain really. They think I might have endo due to my symptoms and are also doing fertility test as I am 35 and still haven't been able to conceive. I am booked in on Tuesday for a laparoscopy, hystoscopy, dye test and if they find any endometriosis

So many questions
I have so many questions to ask but my doctor doesn't have a few hours to answer them all. For instance why aren't people told that their kidney function is in decline by their doctor until they start getting symptoms or get to stage 3. This seems cruel and wrong to me? Why is your creatinine level

CAR-T coming to OSU Medical Center
Hi All, Having just returned from my 12 week Clinical Trial monitoring I got the first tangible hints that CAR-T (Chimeric Antigen Receptor – T cell) therapy is to become a reality at the James hospital at OSU Medical Center for CLL. I heard over a year ago that it was in the planning but while I was

CLL confused
Hi everyone, I need some help. My husband who is now 82 was diagnosed 8 yrs ago and has been on watch and wait. He now needs chemo and will be offered chlorambucil within the next 2 weeks. We have been given all the paperwork and it is a bit frightening. He is worried about side effects given his age

A friend of mine has just been diagnosed with Essential Thrombocythemia a blood cancer, (or pre cancer). Does anyone know how, if at all, this relates to CLL or other blood cell mutation diseases? and what and when treatment is appropriate, beyond the usual W & W period.

I am confused on what we can post on this site.
I feel bad for all people with Cll Leukemia. I sometimes posted things that were natural should we just never post anything like that. When I see someone post something that is natural it makes me feel better that maybe one of us will be healed from God naturally. I feel really bad after someone tells

Kidney Transplant after Liver Transplant
HI Has anyone had to have a kidney transplant after having a new liver. My husband had a liver transplant in Nov 2017 and his kidneys do not seem to have recovered. Worst case scenario is a kidney transplant which is freaking him out. Would be grateful for any advice?

ZAP-70 information
Hi All, I am posting from the Cafe Kerouac In Columbus OH awaiting another 12 week monitoring session for my extended Clinical Trial using PCI-32765 (Ibrutinib). It has been 6 years and 9 months since I started therapy. From an anxious post by an HU CLL forum member over a high ZAP-70 report I got inspired
