I was hoping for some advice on recovery time and pain really. They think I might have endo due to my symptoms and are also doing fertility test as I am 35 and still haven't been able to conceive. I am booked in on Tuesday for a laparoscopy, hystoscopy, dye test and if they find any endometriosis - they will treat it , And a polypectomy if they find any polyps. I'm feeling pretty anxious about it all really. I'm worried of what they might find but stupidly worried that they don't find out what's going on, because of the amount of pain and fatigue I'm experiencing all the time. I would really appreciate it if someone could give me an idea on recovery time and what to expect as I've never had anything like this done before.
Thank you.

Recovery is different for everyone but you'll find it's up to two weeks before you feel like your self, though sometimes it's quicker or slower. Just take it easy and listen to your body.
You'll more likely find the worst pain you'll feel will be in your shoulder due to the gas in the abdominal, walking around and drinking peppermint tea can help with that also applying heat. I tend to take my tablet and my phone with me to hospital so I have something to do while waiting to go down (they don't recommend taking valuables as they're not covered if they're stolen or lost) All the best and I hope it goes smoothly for you.
Thank you for the advice. Hadn't really thought about the waiting to go down bit so I will defiantly take something with me! Good to know a rough idea on recovery too. Thank you.
