Brain Fog or Dimentia?
Hey warriors! So how do you know if you have brain fog or the beginning of dementia? Is it possible to blame ADT and Zytiga? My husband has been on Ellegaard for five years and Zytiga for 2 1/2. Years, he seems to have a lot of memory issues lately, and I fear it’s only getting worse Any thoughts or

Black Salve
Three months ago my oncologist measured the "met" [ don't know if is cancer] on my chest and ordered a CT scan and a mammogram. Before the tests I applied a Native American med some call "black salve" to the met. It lets you know it's working for about a day and half. The tests came back no cancer.

PSA Bounce After Radiation Therapy
I am trying to understand PSA bounce or change in PSA levels after RT and have found two studies useful. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7465291/ https://www.nature.com/articles/s41391-021-00387-4 Some analysts distinguish between PSA bounce and biological recurrence, and see a possibility

olaparib
Just wondering if anyone has experience with olaparib? I now have metastases in my liver as well as bones. I started carboplatin chemo last week after failed docetaxel and carparvotaxel treatments. Olaparib has been mentioned as a possible treatment.

Dutasteride Monotherapy is effective for Newly Diagnosed PCa men not on ADT
This plot shows men that either don't have PCa (Group A) or newly diagnosed men with PCa by biopsy (Group B). Neither group is on ADT. Dutasteride monotherapy (0.5 mg/day) causes an average drop in PSA of about 50% in both Groups, and an average drop of about 20% in prostate volume. In one man, his

HIPEC
Hello everyone, I was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in December, I’ve since had 3 cycles of chemo (to which I’ve had a good response) and will be having debulking surgery soon. My surgeon has said I am suitable for HIPEC. The treatment sounds quite intensive and I’m keen to hear from anyone

"Gasoline" Source
I have been trying to find the source for the observation? that "Testosterone to prostate cancer is like gasoline on a fire". I finally asked Bing Copilot and ChatGPT-- who came up with the answer. Me: What is the source of the "gasoline on a fire" theory in prostate cancer? ChatGPT: Dr. Patrick

Provenge update
Looks like I may be starting Provenge immunotherapy soon, although I'm still being evaluated for castrate resistance. I finally found a local clinic to administer it (although I may have to go to Orlando to have the blood drawn each time). Interestingly, it is being done by a Urology clinic. Apparently

I was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma on my chin today.
Presumably this is a secondary tumor from my CLL. The problem that I am experiencing is that the tumor has been left to grow for quite some time. The last time I spoke with Dr Fakhri at Stanford was 5 months ago, and she was happy that my CLL has been so stable. I noticed something growing in my
