Eligard injection site
I’m changing from 3 month Lupron to 6 month Eligard. Lupron has always been injected in my hip and I’m wondering if Eligard can also use the same site. Thanks in advance for your comments.

upcoming liver resection surgery
hi all, I was diagnosed with a hepatic adenoma measuring 7.5cm and have been referred to Freemans hospital in Newcastle to the liver surgeons. They have put me down for surgery and I’m awaiting a date. I won’t lie and say I’m not terrified but I’m more so concerned because I still feel like I have

Estrogen reducing drugs
Hello all, I hope you’re doing well today. I’m about to change medication again. Do any of you know the complete list of estrogen blocker pills or shots that are available? My onc wants me to go on a trial because she says I’ve used them all, but I want to make sure that I really have. I’ve used Faslodex

I’m still here :)
it’s been a while and my last post was not very positive . This is a quick update . I’m still unclear as to how I got here with my illness but I received palliative chemotherapy six cylcles one every three weeks. I think it was a variation of chop plus an immunotherapy drug beginning with B . The treatment

Using Enzalutamide, Darolutamide, Apalutamide only.
I've seen a number of posters here and there who say they use one of the "mides" listed above with no ADT like Lupron, Eligard, Firmagan, or Orgovyx, etc. If so, did you begin that regimen after being on first level ADT for a while along with the 'mide," or did you start on the "mide" alone at the start

Medicare Denial of PSa Test
Imagine my surprise when a recent Medicare statement showed they denied coverage for a PSa test, stating that it hadn't been a year since the last one. I've never seen this before., And I didn't pay since it was a denied coverage, Quest had to eat the cost - it's as if Quest did something wrong. I

Hello everyone. You can probably remember your first time discovering this website and your very first post. Perhaps a lot like mine. I'm 52 and recently diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer. My Flexible Cystoscopy - and update.
I went for my flexible cystoscopy this morning. I was seen pretty quick and the doctors and nurses very sensative. The cystoscopy took less that 15 minutes and unfortunately they found a start of a tumor. I was watching on a screen and it really did not look much, but I have to be admited
