C T Scan
Well following a diagnosis of NSC lung cancer in April, a left lung pneumonectomy in July and course of chemotherapy I am going to hospital today for my first post treatment CT scan. Having over the last few weeks had a cough develop. I am feeling a tad apprehensive. I suspect I’m being a bit of a hypochondriac

My New Keto Life......
After multiple drains of my lungs, my left
lung
collapsed
from a small hole in it (probably a puncture during one of the draining appointments). I was immediately hospitalized and eventually had thoracic surgery.

So today has been somewhat emotional. Met with Doctor Mooney and went over my health history. He suggests I advance forward with testing and qualifications for double lung transplant as per my portfolio of lung information suggests. He wants me back within a week or so, as soon as insurance gives authorization

No side effects?
My Dad had his first chemo session 12/4. He got carboplatin, alimta, and keytruda. The thing is that I don't know what amounts of these drugs were given. He's not having any side effects so far and that got me to thinking that perhaps they gave him a small amount. If I get the amounts of the drugs

Completed lung transplant assessment ...
Hello All, My mother and I have just completed a lung transplant assessment with Papworth. It was definitely jam packed with tests and they wanted to paint a realistic sobering picture of life post transplant and possible complications... The end result is that my mother needs to have an angiogram before

Hi there from an Aussie gal with Bronch
All I know is I would be up all night coughing and wheezing as a youngster, which led to a
collapsed
lung
and the diagnosis of bronchiectasis. I am now 57 yo and have had several CT scans over the years that continue to confirm the initial diagnosis.

When to stop the chemo?
Hi everyone. I have good news on my Dad. He just did a PET/CT and the doctor told that the tumor has diminished and two cycles of chemo reacted very well. She decided to add immunotherapy Keytruda now and continue with the same chemo for additional 4 cycles. I wanted to find out is there an end for

Trying to be hopeful
I’m 45 years old and was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer 19 months ago. I had a lobectomy and 12 weeks of hellish chemo which I would never put myself through again. Everything seemed fine for awhile but sadly yesterday my consultant informed me that the cancer has now spread to my other lung also
