Chemo in Tablet Form
I was hoping to go on another trial but due to plural effusion,
collapsed
lung
etc unfortunately I cannot now do this. I have been offered chemo in tablet form called Cyclophosphamide and wondered if anyone is on this or has been on this and might have positive feedback. Many thanks xx

do I need my inhaler ?
I had a
collapsed
lung
in September last year and they did a cat scan 3 weeks later. The results letter that they sent my doctor was also sent to me. I’ve gathered that I have emphysema and bronchial wall thickening and other bits.

Pneumonia and collapsed lung after catching the ‘100 day cough’
After a chest X-ray, I was treated for Pneumonia and
collapsed
lung
, spent 12 days on oxygen and was eventually discharged 2 weeks later. I had to unfortunately cancel my Easter holiday to Tunisia. Please be safe everyone ❤️❤️❤️

New here.
lung
in on 5th Jan 2021 and after being discharged from hospital a couple days later I haven’t smoked since which hasn’t been as hard as I thought, mainly because the thought of wanting to stay alive longer outweighed the want of a smoke.

Seeking support
I had
collapsed
lung
lobes therefore was supported by a ventilator. I have been home for 7 weeks now and am slowly recovering. My pending issues are pain at the surgical site as I had 2 surgeries in the same place. I cannot lift my arms fully.

Respite from the fight
Pneumonia 3 times: a
collapsed
lung
, likely from one of a series of falls last spring. On oxygen PRN since June 2023. Surgery to stretch the right lung was completed in November 2023. Steady improvement since then. Finished 6th dose of Pluvicto in November. PSA <.05!

When I was in A&E the doctor thought I had a slightly

I’m perplexed about Pluvicto
With a partially
collapsed
lung
, breathing is a challenge; he uses oxygen when he needs it. Referred to OSU pulmonary interventionist to evaluate inserting stent into lungs to open airways. Having surgery August 16 to remove a bursa sac on an elbow due to repeat infections. Zowie!

Aspergillus post lung transplant.
Hi all, Haven’t been in touch for a while now but mercifully still here. Lungaversary last month which I can only describe as a stormy recovery. Trichosporon infection In clamshell wound delayed discharge by 4 weeks. 1 month in ICU with terrifying hallucinations which still haunt me today. Sternum

Bronchoscopy
My mom was diagnosed with pneumonia 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately 10 days of antibiotics were ineffective. She had a bronchoscopy today and while waiting for results, I was wondering if anybody else was in the same situation and what did the bronchoscopy show?

Rib pain after breathing test
On 22nd I took respiratory test. Ribs in area of LUNG SURGERY in 2019 are very painful upon effort; front, side, and back. I'm taking tylenol and rubbing creams with little improvement. Any one experience this after test?

Exercise post surgery
Hi, I appreciate there are other more serious matters of concern but I would just like to know what types of exercise and when you started after lung surgery. I am bored with physio and less motivated to walk everyday!
