Exhausted but happy.
I spent seven hours at the lung transplant clinic at Harefield yesterday. I was weighed and measured many times, sometimes with boots (dockers!) on sometimes off, ECG, echocardiogram, chest xray, blood tests, blood pressure test, lung function test, urine test, and finally mrsa test! Everone

Anyway, having been diagnosed with NSCL cancer I've now been put on a treatment plan, and start on Monday next week. Has anyone got any top tips for getting through the next few months? It all sounds

Feel like I am waiting for the next tragedy
My
lung
collapsed
twice. I am home again after
lung
surgery and surgery on some of my broken ribs. Now I am worried the incisions aren’t healing. I am trying to stay positive but the anxiety wins. It has been 2 months and I can’t relax or stop worrying.

Abnormal cells
hello! I’m just wanting some help on something we are quiet distressed with at the moment, My nan has been told she has lung cancer, She went for a PET Scan which showed 3 red areas (bowel, lung, spine) We were told these are abnormal cells. She’s now waiting on more tests which are weeks away

What strategies are you using to breathe easier outside in the winter.
Some here are facing their first winter with their lung cancer diagnosis. Others may still be going through treatment now and need to make the trip from the parking spot to the door as painless as possible Treatment causes injury to the lungs making it hard to breathe cold air. What do you do

post chemo radiation initial scan
Hello everyone  , had my post treatment scan done on the 30th dec and yesterday was the review meeting with oncologist… they said that this scan was a very early one ( only 3 weeks  post treatment ) but they needed it because of the potential for immunotherapy that needs to be started within 43 days

post lung transplant
I have recently been accepted on the lung transplant list (November). I would value any advise/experience on the subject. I apparently have a very good blood group thus estimated waiting 50% 6 months, 80% 12 months. Thank you in advance Paul.

KRAS G13D
Hi All, I'm a recently diagnosed Stage IV 4B NSCLC patient (24 years old) with the KRAS G13D genetic mutation identified in my genetic screening. I've been in 2 rounds of chemo with Cisplatin + Pexemetred with plans to add Keytruda to round 3 and 4. However, my cancer is not responding to my 2nd rounds

Hello, I'm new here. I'm wondering if anyone can advise me if possible. I've been coughing up some blood and bloody mucus over the last couple of months. Went to the GP and they referred me on the 2 week pathway. I had a chest x-ray last week which came back clear. I had a chest CT scan yesterday and

Meningioma diagnoses
My GP called me today about my MRI results and I have been told they think it’s a Meningioma tumour in my frontal lobe. Didn’t even ask the size as was in shock. But my only symptom is Pulsatile tinnitus. Apparently my scans are going to be reviewed by the team on 23rd December and I should then
