Possible histamine related allergy NDT
I was eating lots of powdered
collagen
, buckwheat, sauerkraut and bananas and other high histamine food for several months previously, thinking i was being kind to my gut. I have immediately cut down on and only eat low histamine foods now.

Collagen supplementation
Hi, I can find little info on (marine)
collagen
supplements & thyroid med interactions. Came across , only, one article that said it could interfere w/thyroid meds - not anecdotal or a scholarly article. Maybe ok 2hrs after thyroid meds? Anyone have experience?

Need help
I took
collagen
but discontinued didn’t help I take 2 Biotin 5,000 mcg daily. Don’t think covid and the disinfectants used has helped. I had acrylic nails for 20 yrs , nails looked great but was told by my dr it wasn’t a good idea to continue because of the chance of getting a ln infection.

Hello! New here! Can you take collagen supplements with potassium iodide at 50mg with Hashmotos disease?
I am very curious because I have leaky gut and want to supplement with
collagen
which I heard helps leaky gut. I heard potassium iodide is good for hashmotos as its like a detox for the thyroid. If you can help that's great thanks guys. Xx

Just a little rant
I discovered
collagen
peptide protein powder at Costco 3 months ago. I use 10 mg of peptides powder and that also give me 10 mg more of protein in my smoothie every day and I have to say I see a difference.

Collagen Supplements
Hello all...does anyone have any advice or guidance please on whether taking
collagen
supplements is a good/bad idea alongside thyroid meds? My skin and hair are terribly dry and I was wondering if they might help.

Hello & Should I do private tests?
D, B12 (I'm a vegetarian as well as my dad having PA), Zn, Mg, omega 3, 6, 9,
collagen
, and CoQ-10 in a desperate attempt to fight the fatigue and find some more energy), but my tinnitus and paresthesia have got a lot worse recently (along with a new MASSIVELY sore throat all the time).

Vibration plate?
I’ve added a type 1 marine
collagen
that has helped tremendously and tastes great, but, I’m also looking at buying a vibration plate. Please message me if you have used one or own one. I’m looking at the Power Plate Move right now.

Could hibernating bears help with MPNs?
It’s also found in platelets, where HSP47 attaches to
collagen
, a protein that helps platelets stick together. Understanding how human bodies specifically regulate HSP47 is important so that potential drugs find the right balance between preventing clots and too much bleeding.

Taking collagen
Is
collagen
worth taking? I have been diagnosed with osteopenia and am taking Risedronate. I am also taking Anastrozole after having a mastectomy . I take vitD and K , my diet is good and I walk every day. Just wondering if there’s anything else I can do to improve my bone health. Thanks.

Collagen Supplements made endo worse?
The only thing I did differently to other years was introducing powdered
collagen
supplements to my diet. I'm wondering if this is just a coincidence or if any of you have experienced anything similar?
