Vibration plate?

I’m heading toward 60 and was diagnosed with Osteopenia 3 years ago. Former collegiate soccer player, and I workout about 6 days a week. Recently went through menopause and my numbers dropped a bit. I’ve added a type 1 marine collagen that has helped tremendously and tastes great, but, I’m also looking at buying a vibration plate. Please message me if you have used one or own one. I’m looking at the Power Plate Move right now.

I am also interested in a vibration machine and wonder if they really do help. I have osteoporosis and do not want to take pharmaceuticals. I take vitamin k2, calcium with d3, magnesium, multivitamin.

Listen to Dr. Clinton Rubin re: low intensity vibration platforms. Absolutely no to the power plate or any high intensity vibration plates. Dr. Rubin will explain the rationale and clinical trial results re: both.

I’ve been using the Marodyne low intensity vibration platform now for almost 10 years with good results (stable osteoporosis; no further bone loss).

how often and how long do you use the Marodyne platform? Are you on any bone meds as well? I want some more info before I go out and buy one.

10-30 minutes/day (20 min. Early a.m. +/- 10 min. Before bed) on Marodyne Liw Intensity Vibration (LIV) platform. Only added the pm 10 min. session recently, based on Dr. Rubin’s recommendation. He’s a biomedical engineer/inventor of this technology. Do NOT use any form of high-intensity platform; these are a danger to our health & bones, whereas the low intensity technology is a proven enhancement to our bones. It’s no miracle cure (the LIV), but it does help when used consistently over time.

Diagnosed May 2013, began using Marodyne LIV platform Dec. 2013.

Started med SERM (Raloxifene) May 2016.

I purchased a VT003F Vibration Platform Machine - High Frequency / Low Amplitude just last week. Their specs met the recent meta analysis success guidelines. I am acclimating to it slowly but I like it thus far.
