As the eye is made up of 80%
collagen
I wondered if there was a link to my eds. anyone else experience of this? The consultant didn't have much experience of eds but knew there were connections between glaucoma and eds. any info greatly appreciated :) x

ARREST-AF Substrate Study: Strong 'Medicine' vs Medication
Endothelial function (ADMA, ET-1), platelet function (PA to ADP, thrombin,
collagen
, and P-selectin), and inflammatory markers (hs-CRP, IL-6, MPO, BNP) decreased in the RF-management group but not in the control group.

LDN, collagen, and other alternatives
A week previous to starting the LDN, I began undenatured
collagen
(UC-II) at 10 mg. (I tried 40 mg, but I think it was too much.) I found a clinical trial (double-blind, double-dummy) comparing it to MTX in RA. In that trial, it helped. Not as much as MTX, but I'm not relying on UC-II alone.

Simultaneous delivery of highly diverse bioactive compounds from blend electrospun fibers for skin wound healing
Upon release, vitamin C maintained the ability to facilitate

I secretion by fibroblasts, EGF stimulated skin fibroblast proliferation and insulin potentiated adipogenic differentiation. Transgenic cell reporter assays confirmed the bioactivity of vitamin D3, T3 and hydrocortisone.

Asthma and Hypermobility
The most obvious manifestation of JHS is joints that have more than the normal range of extension and mobility, but as
collagen
is not confined to the joints it can affect other parts of the anatomy as well.

Iodine Excess as an Environmental Risk Factor for Autoimmune Thyroid Disease
In contrast to exogenous PAMPs, DAMPs are endogenous intracellular and extracellular molecules (such as genomic DNA fragments, heat shock proteins,
collagen
and hyaluronic acid) released from sterile cells damaged by various stimuli, such as ischemia/reperfusion injury, trauma and oxidative stress [98

Symptoms of Hypo?
Hi I have had hashimotos for a decade or so and have no thyroid at all so I know most symptoms but someone recently said in a post that losing
collagen
around the jaw is also a sign.

Finitro Forte Plus
Has anyone" tried FINITRO FORTE PLUS" containing Type11
Collagen
,Glucosamine, and Chondroitin, this is being advertised on Facebook, seems a bit expensive, but if it does the trick I am wondering whether to give it a go, any advice on this would be appreciated

Utterly confused! GP friend talking 'Bol*ocks'! :)
He recommends taking 1000mg Vitamin C every day to support
collagen
production which will help restore the tendon. Last night I was talking with a GP friend who asked how things were going and told him what had been said. His reply: 'It sounds like a load of bollocks to me'.

Incontinence surgery.
He`s already done a
collagen
injection that didn`t work, so now I`ll have to have a more complicated procedure which will mean either an epidural or a general anasthetic, plus several days in hospital.

Collagen injections?
Hi, was interested if anyone had
collagen
injections in or near their vocable chords? My husbands neurologist is recommending that to plump up the vocal chords so that he can speak louder. Any success? Also going to try Botox injection on his right foot which has dystopia.

It is the hormone that relaxes ligaments during pregnancy, and also affects the
collagen
structure in your body. I was really shocked that the Doctor seemed to have no knowledge of this? I then immediately stopped it.

Operation has failed!
I mentioned a while ago that I had a procedure involving injections of
collagen
into the anal canal to treat passive incontinence. I was so hopeful that it would work, but now I`m bitterly disappointed because I`m no better than before.
