Amazing too good to be true claims for this but there seems to be a few bits of research on it being anti inflammatory. Anyone tried it ? Still taking the meds....

If any of these concoctions were of any clinical use…I think the

NHS might have made use of them by now. …..don’t you?

I actually was given a tube of this, by a Jamaican friend to try. I was very skeptical to say the least. My experience is it’s similar to Diclofenac gel, but much more expensive. The tubes are tiny, 20g each and apparently £14 for 2. Not sure it would help deep joints like the hip, but it did help my patellar tendon and my knuckles. I’d rather get he Diclofenac as I can apply that more liberally without worrying about cost.

I seem to remember that there was ‘thing’ years ago about bee therapy for arthritis - at a residential centre on a bee farm somewhere……….

There are many papers on Google Scholar on this, but one of the best places to go for things like this can be the Cochrane Collaboration

You know what they say? If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is, BUT honey has been a healing agent for hundreds, nay, thousands of years.

Indeed, While not a significant breakthrough, it can help some people, like many diet changes. If it does, great. If not, it's probably not a problem. My mother used to take honey and cider vinegar to help her joints. However, it did not affect me. As indeed most diet tweaks IMO but we are all different, and some people get some benefit from some of them.

if you do try it I sincerely hope you feel some benefit.
