Taking Biotin prior to full Blood count

Good morning all.

Should I stop taking B complex prior to having a Full Blood Count, I have been screened for bowel cancer and am having further tests.

I always stop B complex when I have Advanced Thyroid (via medichecks) my recent test shows low ferritin and a higher inflammation

I wonder if this could be Ulcerative colitis as seems to match symptoms so will go with the screening first as this was offered without my initiation.

Many thanks

You could contact the lab and ask if their analytical processes are affected by biotin.

But, if in doubt, it is obviously safest to avoid taking it.
