More aggressive options for Stage 1 cancer post lobectomy.
Hi all. By accident (calcium heart check) found a 2cm nodule in MRL 2 months ago. (non smoker) 1 week ago had a lobectomy to remove it. (and yes love coughing right now...) Although still waiting on official staging it should be 1a. Tumour was adenocarcinoma (80% lepedic 20% acinar) no detection of it

Surgery this week
I met my consultant this week and he has booked me in for a VATS lobectomy on Thursday. Shocked at the speed this has all happened but extremely grateful. Naturally feeling anxious and worried about pain post surgery. Can anybody give me the benefit of their similar experience. It helps so much speaking

I have my first appointment next Tuesday with a Haematologist. I had Bowel surgery on 30th June for a stricture and now have a permanent Colostomy. Biopsies were taken and lymph nodes sent off for histology. The provisional diagnosis is CLL/SLL. I had a CT scan 2 weeks ago and the appointment next week

Hello all, I was diagnosed with endometriosis aged 21 after 8 years of awful problems and symptoms. After my first laparoscopy I was initially told it was “just a few spots of endometriosis” and my options were chemically induced menopause (gnrh and add back HRT) or to get pregnant and they fitted

Botox injection
After months of pan, had a colonoscopy and a Botox injection. Report after it said I had a fissure. Now I’m constipated and I feel quite swollen down there. I expect not to poop for a few days after a colostomy but I’m feeling uncomfortable now and I’m a bit worried about the swelling, I assume it’s

Hello. I had my dreaded mirena coil removed yesterday, bit of a procedure as the strings were inside uterus etc but pleased it is out. I’ve been advised I will always need to take something for stage 4 endo and adeno as I’m only allowed one more surgery which is hysterectomy and likely colostomy bag.

Advice on open surgery
Hi ladies, I have had an MRI scan that showed extensive endometriosis… without going into too much detail, basically everything is stuck together; ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus with adhesions to the bowels… ☹️ I’ve been told at 45 it’s best to just have a full hysterectomy (I’m lucky enough to have

Mirena coil moved, strings missing, possible surgery needed to remove.
I suffer with stage 4 endo which continues to return despite a number of surgeries including two excision with endo specialist. My last major surgery I was told they’d be inserting mirena coil, I didn’t want it and told them that but they insisted it was pretty much the “only way to keep it under control

Another update
All going on here I can tell you! So as you all know I had the emergency loop colostomy about 6 weeks ago. All was going well. Friday 2nd July had some low level stomach pain around 5pm and then the stoma prolapsed about 4 inches. Long story short, emergency op at local hospital for a refashioned stoma

Wheezing chest after eating
Hello all, I’m 10 months in remission following Stage 3 NSCLC, lobectomy and chemo. I’ve been in good health but over the last week I’ve developed a real, raspy wheezing after eating dinner. Has anyone experienced same or give advice please?

I have been recommended for colostomy for Scleroderma bowel. Been using Qufora cone toilet system for over 2 years and having PTNS treatment. Now this isn’t enough. Need colostomy for quality of life. Just wondering if anyone on here as a colostomy and have they be it fitted. Thanks so much.,

Introduction
I'm disabled which has led to my depression. Before I became disabled I was very active and now am not active at all. Needless to say. I miss many things I can no longer do due to lack of mobility and other issues. I become anxious because I worry that my mobility and health may decrease, right now
