We have a lot to thank guys and st Thomas for. Our son whilst on duty got a split aorta . To cut a long story short he was blue lighted to st Thomas’s who operated straight away. He was in icu for 13 days and they saved his life

Wow, you've been in the wars a bit, haven't you? I hope your prostate problems are soon under control so you can carry on enjoying life without worrying too much. It sounds as though you've already had your full quota of that!

There's not a day goes by that I don't offer up a silent prayer for all at the NHS - even those who get things wrong and frustrate me - as they all work hard to do their best, often in very trying circumstances.

I hope your 80th year is a good one for you both with happy times ahead. xx Moy
