Hi everyone,I could really do with some advice as I'm really struggling and don't know what to do. I've been in treatment for just over a year and my endo is shrinking nicely . I had Zoladex injections for 10 months with hrt. I struggled with the side effects and to find an hrt that didn't make me bleed

Worried about pulmonary fibrosis if radiating the metastasis in my shoulder blade
When I saw my radio-oncologist a few days ago and asked what is the risk for my lungs if we use radiation against the metastasis in my right shoulder blade. He said that there is a risk that it could cause fibrosis but that it does not impact breathing and that I should not worry. Today I decided to

PALB2 Stage 4 A prostate cancer treatment plan.
My Partner has stage 4A prostate cancer spread to the nodules and has the PALB2 gene. How effective is internal and external radiation and ADT as the first line of treatment? Why can't the drs start with PARP inhibitors and chemo which is the standard of care as a second line treatment? Is it because

ADT and Increased Blood Sugar
Prior to my diagnosis, my morning blood sugar levels were just on the cusp of normal ranging from 99 to 120 each morning. My primary care physician prescribed Metformin, which seemed to reduce or maintain these levels. I have been taking Orgovyx since 9/23 and expect to complete the regimine in early

Is the end in sight???
Hi everyone, this is my first post and reading others seems I am in the right place to discuss these issues with others who know exactly what I am going through. Others, even close friends, I think at times just dont get it... From what I read others too have had a long long road to diagnosis and treatment

what to try next?
Hi everyone :) I don't think I've posted before, probably because as awful as endo is, I've been lucky in a lot of ways. . I was diagnosed via laparoscopy in 2015, and I live in a city with an accredited endo centre, so my surgeon knew what he was doing. He found and excised a few spots in various places

Accuracy doubtful due to fusion hardware?
L5/S1 hardware new since last dexa scan. The tech did ask for an opinion from a co-worker as she felt the imaging was being distorted due to the hardware, but was told it would not impact the readings. take hrt, d3/k2 and am active! Any thoughts?

Experience, thus far with Lupron and Abiraterone
I am 78 years old. I was diagnosed in May 2022 with PCa after my PSA was measured at 23.79. I have no other health issues. Following the determination that PCa was still within the prostrate capsule and had not spread to any other organ, I was placed on Lupron (6 monthly IM injections for 2 years). Clinically
