hello! I’ve been on here for a few weeks reading everyone’s posts, which have been helpful. My dad recently found out he has extensive Mets throughout his skeleton, although we have been battling this disease for almost 5 years now, things have taken a turn. He has been on ADT since January, and tolerating it well. He is active almost daily. I believe chemo is the next step according to his MO. Gleason 9, original diagnosis in 2019. Does anyone have similar diagnoses with some uplifting stories?

Hi, Read about and ask your RO about the efficacy of Ra225 for extensive bone Mets. The treatment specifically targets bone metastasis and has few side effects.
Thank you for the reply, have you been on Ra225 before? It seems like many say it’s tolerable like you mentioned.
I managed my uncles PCa care in his 80’s and 90’s. He was treated with Ra225 at about 90 with few if any SEs. Died at 96 of other causes, A very good man!
I read your bio and understand that there is no pain. He is also very active. Understanding PSA doubling time is very important.
Have you thought about docetaxel chemo + ADT + AR, which is called triplet therapy, and the best results?
There are many target therapies, such as immunotherapy and clinical trials.

Quick questions that I did not find in your bio.
How many active mets are from PSMA PET?
What's his last PSA?
Does he have any Germline Mutations or Genomic Mutations?
thank you for the reply. He has extensive bone Mets… too many to count. His PSA has never been a good indicator of how the disease is, so they don’t follow it anymore, but his last PSA was around 6. No mutations were found.
I’ve read a lot about triplet therapy. I can imagine the side effects could be pretty bad with all three, but it seems to have good results for many.
Just search in the group for triplet therapy and read all the side effects
Target therapy:
Pluvicto
Radium 223
