Hi everyone,I could really do with some advice as I'm really struggling and don't know what to do. I've been in treatment for just over a year and my endo is shrinking nicely . I had Zoladex injections for 10 months with hrt. I struggled with the side effects and to find an hrt that didn't make me bleed, I tried so many. I was then switched to Dienogest, again side effects were difficult to cope with and I had back pain on these. I saw the consultant for a routine appointment and she said I could stop taking them, wait 6 weeks and then go on hrt if needed as I'm now 51. As soon as I stopped taking them I got really bad endo pain, some bleeding but that stopped fairly quickly but the pain didn't. I tried contacting the endo nurse to see if that was normal but 3 weeks later still no reply. I ended up contacting GP who gave me painkillers and put me back on Dienogest. Had a bad night last night, uncomfortable, had to get up to go to toilet, remembered why I came off it. This happened before, got tested for uti but was clear.
I'm really sorry for the essay but I just don't know what to do. I used to be a strong person but now I just cry all the time and feel anxious.
If anyone has been in a similar situation or has any advice that would very gratefully received
Thank you for reading X

Hi,Yes I am feeling alone so thank you so much for your reply. I'm so uncomfortable at night which is the main issue. Do you mind me asking if you're anything else instead?
Sorry to hear this lovely. You are not alone at all. Try and reach out and tell friends or family how bad it is.
Unfortunately no - I made the decision after trying lots of different things to go medication free - I have acupuncture once every 2 weeks which helps a bit.
I take co codamol and naproxen to get through the worse days until I wait for another surgery.
