Chin straps - one for those with SA sufferers and snorers
I’ve used CPAP for about 5 years now and it has definitely improved my QOL. I have bought and tried most makes of chin strap - some were better than others but I still haven’t come across one that I am truly comfortable with. Can anyone recommend a comfortable, breathable strap? You can PM me if you

Asthma - temporary worsening
Hi, I wonder if I can get some advice please. In the last few weeks my asthma seems to have got a bit worse. I use Airflusal 250 and that works really well. I also use prednisone 8.5mg per day. Is it normal for Asthma to come and go?, I mean have a few weeks where it gets worse and then it gets better

2 Days After Cryoablation
I’m feeling well after cryoablation — yippee! Had just a 4-second blip of Afib in the hospital and none since. It’s strange waiting to see if it’s really gone, having been such a major focus for me prior to the ablation. Thanks so much to everyone for their support beforehand. It really helped ease my

CPAP Water Tank, why?
Hi, I've been using CPAP machine for about 4 years and am now on my second machine after the old one wouldn't switch on. I have one query I've never been advised to use the water tank, what's it for? Thanks in advance.

Water reservoir
Further to my last post on cleaning your CPAP machine. As I do not sleep well, in the morning I always have a little water still in the tank, I add a drop of washing up liquid to this , with the addition of a little white vinegar, if you have no left over water , then fill up as usual with cool but boiled

RLS & more
I've partly got my RLS under control with a combination of medication (Ropinirole 2mg and pregabalin 25mg + 2 co-dydramal tablets) taken early evening. I also use a magnetic underlay on the bed. Most evening the RLS kicks in between 19.00 and 11.00. And usually ends after 3 to 5 Hours, though occasionally

Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis, probable ARDS and SEVERE anxiety
My Mum has been on ITU for 2 weeks now, after a severe reaction to a supposedly mild chemotherapy drug. While her other organs are fine, her lungs are in a bad way. Because it's such a rare reaction (supposedly!!), doctors aren't sure what will happen and how well she will recover. Apparently it's just
