Light weight oxygen cylinders
Hi everyone,I’m new to your community. I’ve been living with lung disease for many years and a year ago my lung and heart finally decided to give up the ghost. But fortunately my wonderful local hospital managed to bring me back, and I’ve been enjoying my life with my family. I use 1/2 a litre of oxygen

Update- My Imbruvica plus Venetoclax Captivate trial.
Hello, I am very pleased to report I am still MRD undetectable in the blood and bone Marrow after almost 1 year!! My Doctor prefers to say MRD- undetectable instead of MRD Negative. I am most likely on a placebo. Per the trial I am on either a placebo or imbruvica. I am Very very sure a placebo

Life is a living hell, crippling fatigue and brain fog
23, Male, Caucasian, 5'10, 165 lbs Hello all, I'm sure many of you can relate to my story so here goes. My health has felt like it’s been in the crapper for way too long. When I was 12-13 I was diagnosed with mild GERD (acid reflux). It affected my sleep a little bit from what I remember

CPAP
Had my sleep clinic results and yes I have sleep apnoea the top end of moderate. The have fitted me with a CPAP Machine today as the doc felt it was urgent so soon after the ablation. Can't wait to feel better. Any words of wisdom gratefully received. 😴😴

Ground Hog Day
Well I had 3 days of sinus rhythm (with a few minor bumps). I had a bad headache all day Sunday and Monday and then this morning woke up at 1.45 am in AFib and it hasn’t stopped yet, nearly 14 hours later. The Digoxin keeps it down to a manageable rate so I can cope okay. It probably hasn’t helped that

New diagnosis
Need an answer I’ve recently was diagnosed with sleep apnea. Given a form to inform DVLA of my new diagnosis. Form says not to drive but nurse didn’t say much about driving. I’ve informed DVLA and they said I can either evoke my licence or have an assessment. My problem is my partner doesn’t drive so

CPAP Trial - one week in
It’s interesting that there has been a lot of discussion here lately around sleep apnea. I’m one quarter of the way through my 4 week CPAP trial. Being claustrophobic I’m struggling but getting used to it. I’m determined to complete the trial and see if it helps my heart. This is the mask so it’s the

SLEEP APNOEA
Be careful with seeking a sleep apnoea diagnosis because if toggled with daytime sleepiness it could mean loss of your drivers license as you have to inform DVLA and they have the right to withdraw your license. You will be given a CPAP machine to use and providing you use it 80% of your sleeping hours

Body Vibrations Night Terrors
Finally .. it seems I'm not the only one. For the last three years i have suffered and endured the many sleepless nights with this body vibration. It all seemed to start with what I now know to be RLS ... restless leg syndrome. This then progressed to my whole body. No one can see this except

Pramipexole side effects
I've been on 2 x 0.88 Pramipexole for 6 months having spent all my adult life (I'm now almost 60) feeling tired during the day and very gradually getting RLS. I use a CPAP machine for central apnoeas, and then a sleep study showed that RLS/periodic limb movement was repeatedly waking me in the night.

I have been on Ropinerole 2 yrs along with 120 mg daily ms contin ( morphine) and it is not working anymore. Back to square one. I told my family doc I am suicidal ( to get his attention) and it did. We talked at length about another plan of attack and from what I have read suggested getting rid
