Hi everyone, Im wondering if anyone could give me any advice please. I had an endoscopy yesterday, it revealed multiple ulcers and oesophagitis. I’ve been put on omeprazole for 8 wks then a repeat endoscopy to see if any improvement. I thought omeprazole inhibits acid in the stomach but I already

Help/suggestions with BH thyroid test results
I have just received the results from my Blue Horizon thyroid +11 test today. Blood test was taken first thing in the morning, finger prick method, fasting. I have not been diagnosed yet with a thyroid disorder, but am pretty sure that's the case as my mother has and grandmother had thyroid disease.

Hi My name is Dee and I am being medicated for Angina Symptoms. I had a chest X-Ray that showed my lungs were fine, but my heart was larger than it should be. I am always breathless and have pain in my chest when I exert my self. I assumed this was my lungs! I had an appointment at Hospital last week

Nurse carried our spirometry ordered by doc due to a few chest infections I had. I was still coughing alot the day I went and bringing up green. I had to use my blue inhaler as by the time I walked the fifteen mins to my docs I could not breath relieved it pretty well. When blowing into spirometry there

Writing here for some support how to make a long story short back in 1998 I had a seizure I didn't know what was happening in years before in my late teens and had two together but didn't know at the time they were painful and not what you think of seizures. I went to a neurologist who told me it

Do I even have asthma
Hi guys. I'm hoping to find someone with a similar experience to myself. I suffer with pretty bad allergies and take a lot of medication to manage this, including the use of Montelukast (Singulair) to control the allergic wheeze (asthma). As my allergies stand, all seems to be ok and well managed for

Heart Failure & coughing
My husband has got heart failure & has had a cough for at least 2/3 years. At first he was told the cause of his cough was his medication. Now the cardiologist has said its not his medication it could be his heart failure but wants Kevin to see GP first. He's had a breathing test done at surgery & that

Methoject
I had my first methoject today at the hospital . I did a lot better than I thought I have really come far in 2 years . I need to go back for a chest X-ray next week when I’ve got time . The nurse wants a starting point of my lungs as methotrexate on long term use can cause fibrosis of the lungs . I

I feel like I'm typing on bone.
I dont know where I belong yet. I'm a 40 year old female. I've had hand/wrist pain (RSI) for over 10 years in my right hand. A few years ago the flareups got worse. I started getting swelling on my pip joints (both hands). Sharp pain in my dip joints and a hot padded pain in my palm on my dip joints
