4th chest x-ray
Hi guys, I'm a little worried and my doctor is being really vague about things. I had a terrible cough for months and coughed up some blood. I was given antibiotics that didn't work. I then had a chest x-ray that showed pneumonia. I was given more antibiotics, and felt a bit better after 6 weeks. I

No infomation
Hi I wonder if anyone could help. I got sent for a chest x-ray 2 weeks ago and went for results to GO today, she told me I have COPD but gave me no information or advice except to say that if I got short of breath she will give me inhalers. I am totally shocked and it has just really hit me now. x

Morning all, Got my intrinsic factor results yesterday and they are only sitting at 2 (0.0 - 24) so am now wondering where I go from here. My aim is to get my GP to trial me on weekly injections for a month to see if there is an improvement in my balance, my mental capacity and my overall tiredness.

Alendronic Acid ....and other worries
I too am reluctant/determined not to take AA, despite being diagnosed with osteoporosis 2016 prior to diagnosis of PMR. My Rheumatologist and doctor advised and prescribed it. In 2009 I had a chest X-ray with report ‘Lungs are hyperinflated in keeping with obstructive airways disease’ comments: OK.

Decisions, decisions ?
My dilemma is all about drug treatment !! " "Nothing new then", I can almost hear everyone's thoughts !! For a start I have been having trouble with my chest for some time, regularly coughing up clear mucous. A recent chest X-ray revealed inflammation in my lungs. So, today I have been doing some reading

Is my low folate causing B12 to be low. .New to me and I'm a bit lost!
Hi there...I wonder if you can help me.. I've recently had bloods that show Serum folate deficiency at 1.8 ug/l Serum B12 was 233 ng/l All my other bloods looked fine. My GP wants to prescribe folic acid. However I am concerned that my B12 is on the low side and I have experienced all neurological symptoms

Cough at night
Quick question about cough at night. Did blood work. Wating for results ( very anxious) Joint pain...... I’ve been coughing at night off and on for 1 year now. Had done a chest X ray a year ago : they found the tiniest nodule ( they actually wrote on report : maybe vascular ?) because it was so small

New here: Managing B12 dosage, "crashes" and antibiotics
Hey folks. I'd be grateful for any insights here if anybody has the time... I've lived with this health issue for almost a decade, without treatment. It has been called many things including IBS, Fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue and my personal favourite "some sort of mental health issue". My last GP struck

Trapped Lung
After a relatively good day yesterday I finally had a phone call I had been waiting for since the end of last week. I have been chasing the hospital up to find out if an embolisation procedure to stop my chylothorax will be possible. There is still no news now the consultant radiologist is talking to

B12 deficiency - more frequent injections
Hi all, newbie here :-) I was diagnosed with b12 deficiency in January after months of feeling rotten. Initially I was pleased it was 'nothing serious' and could be sorted with injections. Levels were below 150 at diagnosis, no idea of the exact figure as test didn't show them. Also had slightly
