Dizziness and heart worries
Hi all! I have to say, this community is wonderful and has provided a comfort to read. I have pretty severe health anxiety these days. I started seeing a therapist this week (and will be going weekly), but spoke to my GP and am weaning off the Zoloft I started 7+ weeks ago, as I have had no relief and

Sleep Study
Three weeks ago I had a sleep study in hospital. I was rather anxious about it as I am highly claustrophobic. It was hard enough wearing pajamas, let alone having all the probes and wires on me. I was in tears (and in AF) when getting wired up. I did some deep breathing and meditating and finally got

24/7 Light-headedness & Faintness Story
Hello all. I've been dealing with this for about 10 months now, but I've had standard anxiety all my life. For some background context, I'm 25, self-employed, and write books for a living. I spend upwards of 10-15 hours every day staring at screens for writing, relaxation, and everything in between.

Advice please
I am new on here and just wondering if anyone can advise me please. I started with a chest/sinus infection end of October and still have this awful gurgling:bubbling in my upper airways or throat. It is there most of the time but more in evenings but funnily enough doesn’t wake me. I am coughing up green

Herbal tampons
I had a laparoscopy done in november to check for endometriosis and blockage in my tubes. Endo removed and tubes open but slow due to some scarring. We have been referred to fertillity clinic and first appointment is in a week and a half. I know they will either suggest an op to remove scarring or ivf

Trying to get B12D sorted & want to know what to ask/say to Dr. Loading x5 Sept '18, just had blood test & I think low again.
Hi from UK. Trying to be brief. I was really poorly for about a year from Sept '17 with a plethora of 'unexplained' symptons (which I now know all fit under pretfy much every possibility for B12D). Was not able to work & really debilitated by it all physically & mentally/emotionally. I had a couple

Scared about ARVC
Hi, new here. I had a half brother die suddenly from ARVC aged 32 almost a decade ago, when I found out (I didn't have any dealing with him) I thought nothing much of it as I had Anxiety problems around that time and had multiple ECG's, chest X-rays and a 24 hour ECG at the time which didn't pick up

Bagpipes and A&E
On my last post I left you wondering if I had my personal bagpipes on my birthday and how my blood pressure / GCA was resolved. Well my birthday bagpipes didn't happen. George was unwell, he didn't even take any haggis piping bookings. He seems to only play at funerals recently. As you might have guessed

A great hospital experience (if such a thing exists 😅)
Hi everyone Having had some truely terrible hospital experiences (and posted them on here), I thought I’d post about my most recent trip, which was about 90% positive ☺️ I’d been twitchy since last Saturday (ended up not being able to get out of bed without needing to nebulise/ventolin) due to a 7hr

Hypothyroid or not?!?! Do I need Medication? Please Help
Hello, I'm only 22 and in my second year at university and struggling so much and feel it's hard to get people (GP and families) to understand the extent to how bad I feel (lethargic/tired, mood swings, zoned out, poor memory, aching neck/shoulders). I'd appreciate some opinions of the experience

Hi, I’m new on here.
I was diagnosed with low B12 and no intrinsic factor (so I presume pernicious anaemia) last October. I’m 73, so age is a major factor here. I’ve also used proton pump inhibitors for some years, had eating disorders and have other auto immune disorders and been vegetarian for over 40 years, so no great

Hollow feeling in chest
Does anyone else get a hollow feeling in their chest? I mostly get this at night when I'm trying to sleep, or I wake in the night with it. Its like theres nothing there and my chest feels light and airy - its a very odd feeling! Is this anxiety or something else? This is a new "symptom" for me. My Dr

Private B12 injections in London please?
Hello, Does anyone know of a private GP in the London area or Kent who will give B12 injections please? I have had my loading dose of 6 just over 2 weeks ago, some symptoms went away but dizzyness and strange tiredness after walking for more 10 minutes were still there. I told this to my GP. But now

High Heart Rate
I’m an 18 year old female, weighing about 110 lbs (7.86 st) at 5’5. My resting heart rate is really good. Around 65 bpm. I’ve recently been extremely concerned with my heart health, as brisk walking will shoot my heart rate up to 140, and running up to 203. I’ve been living a sedentary lifestyle recently
