Im new here. I’ve suffered from anxiety for about 3 years now. I feel like it’s just getting worse ... I get it really bad at night . It keeps me from going to sleep so it causes insomnia. I’ve gone to the ER so many times.. have had many EKG’s, 24 hour holter monitor , chest x-Ray , labs, you name it. my heart can raise up to maybe 170 bpm and have a full blown panic attack. Because of that, I am currently wearing a heart patch for two weeks just to make sure my heart is okay since once of the doctors said i May also be suffering from supraventicualr tachycardia . I usually have a lot of heart palpitations, elevated heart rate, chest pains, clammy hands , chest tightness (which I am having right now) etc. My husband works over nights, so it sucks when you’re alone and feel this way.. I currently started to take Celexa for my anxiety.. I was taking beta blocker for my fast heart , but stopped taking those. I take Ativan occasionally when it’s really bad.

Have you considered seeing a trusted professional? The meds are helpful but it would be very beneficial to talk to someone and learn ways to cope and manage anxiety. I have been in your shoes so I truly understand. Giving it a try wouldn't do harm, so maybe think about it. Sometimes its nice to unload our stuff to a complete stranger who know nothing about us and not judge us and just be there to listen. I hope you get well soon. Take care.
