Pain right side of chest/ under right arm....any advice?
Hello! New person here. Wondering if I could get some advice. In August last year I noticed a pain just right from center in my chest. Kind of nagging pain. It went on and off, checked my breasts constantly as I was convinced perhaps I would find a lump in the right one....I found nothing but I went

Daughter starts treatment
My daughter recently diagnosed with RA after birth of second baby. Aches in knees which progressed to feet, hands and now shoulders. Had blood test and no signs of inflammation but Rheumatoid Factor of 31. CCR and CCP came back normal and had ultra sound scan on hands and no inflammation showing.

Having a grim time of things...
My AF seems to have taken a turn for the worst. After a long and stressful day yesterday I had loads and loads of ectopics in the evening and at night. They more or less disappeared today but reappeared during the evening. Only they were not, apparently, ectopics but AF, albeit slow AF . Am now in A

An anxious drive / Inflammation
Last week I saw my GP who ordered a chest X-ray and some blood tests. She called today and asked if I was free to speak. I said I was driving but on Bluetooth so was fine to speak. She said she wanted to speak to me about my X-ray results but didn’t want to interfere with my driving and could I call

Going on to MTX soon feeling petrified
Hi everyone! I’m new here☺️ I’ve had RA for some years now and was finally put on to Hydroxychloroquine 2 years ago. My condition has escalated very quickly so they are now putting me on MTX aswell. Saw Rheumy doc in November and had chest X-ray but not heard anything more since. How long and what’s

Sense of touch seems off
Hello everyone, I usually do not post on these kinds of forums so this is relatively new to me. I am a 22-year-old, male, graduate student in the Midwest and I think something is wrong with me. For the past three weeks, my body seems kind of off. I was going home for break after finishing my first semester

New to this site
I have had OA for about 10 years, it accelerated with the onset of menopause. The combination of lower back and fingers caused me to take early retirement coming up to 2 years ago. Just coming out of a really bad spell of a flare, have spent a few months thinking it was RA as had raised rheumatoid factor

Newly diagnosed bullous emphysema & COPD
Hi all, newbie here who would like to share my recent diagnosis & hopefully meet some people who understand my condition. After repeated chest infections I eventually got a gp to agree to put me for a chest X-ray (apparently we don’t know our own bodies well enough to know something isn’t right!?) I

I got a bit distracted so forgot to question it. Has anyone heard of anything similar to this before? Finally feeling a bit better and

Castor Oil Packs
Has anyone diagnosed with PID ever used castor oil packs to help break down scar tissue and adhesions and keep them from returning?

How safe are chest x-rays?
Some years ago a GP recommended I have a chest x-ray every 2 years as I used to work with dust containing a small percentage of asbestos but my new GP dismissed this and told me I'd be more at risk from the exposure to radiation.

Not RA
So seen the rheumatologist today, all the aching disformed joints are osteoarthritis, dry mouth, throat, cough & 1 dry eye to drink water, get eye drops. The raised rheumatoid factor he wasn't worried about or the raised pv. So good news in a way as do not require dmards, but still in pain and nothing

B12 INJECTIONS
Hi- I am a 26 year old female and I recently found out that I have low b12. My labs showed 210 pg/mL and normal range was 232-1245 pg/mL. I did not begin experiencing symptoms of what I hope is only b12 deficiency until I was given Prednisone/antibiotics for a sinus issue (had a horrible horrible horrible

New diagnosis
Hi, I have been going to my GP for over a year with fatigue, headaches, blurry vision and joint pain. She said you are a working mum, what do you expect. I pushed for vitamin tests and I thought I had reumatoid arthritis so asked for antibody testing. She phoned me with the results to say I didn't have
