Hello, I found out I am b12 deficient in June with reading of 127 pmol/l. Dr gave me 10 injections 1 a day, stopped and sent me to further investigations with GI Dr, but not for intrinsic factor?!?! And you know how is with hospital appointments. I am waiting for one thing for weeks. They tested b12

See, I knew I was right. It's RA flare not OA!
Some of you may remember from my last posts that I have been off MTX for 6 months due to chest infections. Have been flaring in knee and elbow and finally managed to get an earlier appointment with my Rheumy to try to sort out some new medication. However, Rheumy did not think my pain was due to RA but

Not diagnosed but injecting b12, can I still test?
Hello all, I have an MS diagnosis, but as primary progressive, no treatment, so nothing to lose. My FBC showed MCV 108, ferritin 8, b12 280 2 years ago. My neuro dismissed these as irrelevant, but I understand PA can sometimes be confused with MS. I started with numb toes, slowly going up my legs with

Antibodies
Hi, I am going to get trialed on a course of b12 injections to see If helps my deficiency symptoms. Also awaiting blood tests for gastric cell and intrinsic factor. If these come back negative what does this mean? B12 supplements don't seem to do much at mo even tho active b12 is low and I'm Worried

Recently diagnosed with B12 Deficiency
Hi! I was recently diagnosed with B12 deficiency, having been told I had "severely low" B12. Apparently my amount was 78! I am only 26 years old so a little surprised. I originally went to the doctors because I experience anxiety like symptoms...racing heart, dizziness, sense of dread, and more specifically

First Appointment
Well I had my first appointment yesterday and it wasnt what i thought. I arrived on time but the nurse told me that the doctor had not yet arrived. After 45 minutes the nurse went to see the main consultant and was told that my original doctor was not supposed to be seeing patients as he was training
