naveed, I looked at your previous posts and questions. Are you vegetarian? Do you eat significant serving sizes of green vegetables? I"m asking because your folate was not stellar either. Usually people who eat a lot of vegetables (not talking about chickpeas and other pulses) but stuff that's green, have higher folate levels. From what I've seen, Hindu vegetarian diet is low in fresh vegetables. They are used as chutneys or pickles or garnish so not enough to contribute in a significant way.
Probably take a vitamin B complex and 500 mcg B12 sublingual. That way you cover all bases. There are some B vitamin capsules that are 'hi potency'. As in they contain 50 mg of most of the vitamins. I think taking these chronically is probably not a good idea. It is possible to get symptoms from taking too much as well. But a mid range content B complex containing 200 folate is a good idea.
I keep the 'hi potency' capsules at home but I eat meat, fish, shellfish, fresh vegetables, fruit, mushrooms etc. and only take 2 of these per week as a sort of vitamin 'insurance policy'.
I would supplement with B12 methylcobalamin sublingual (it must be methylcobalamin) tablets and your levels will soon increase. I take 1,000mcg.
If you order through Amazon, and this explains how it can be helpful to Thyroiduk.org
shaws, in previous posts, the folate was not stellar either.
Do they make sublingual that is not methylcobalamin? The folate sublingual is methyl as well.
There certainly are oral supplements which could be kept under the tongue that are based on Hydroxocobalamin or Adenosylcobalamin, also known as dibencozide, rather than methylcobalamin.

Are they exotics? Because I've pored over the healthfood and drugstore shelves..... methyl for subling and cyano in swallow the pill. Maybe they are behind the counter or prescription only?
Not that easy to find but just go to iherb's website. Quite possibly other suppliers as well.
Rod, is there any advantage to using the dibencozide over the methylcobalamin?
I really don't know. It is sold as being the version which actually does something directly. (A bit like T3 as against T4 which needs processing in the body to be usable.)
Whether that is a good thing or not very likely gets the answer "it depends". On what? I don't know.

my mom had pernicious anemia...she had to have injections for many years.
This may not be true now a days, but I thought it was really hard to get a natural B complex tablet that was high dose...There is a reason for that, and I cant remember what it is now...
