B12d, FM, VitD or all three???
I am finding it impossible to figure out what is going on inside me. :-( I had blood test results in November 14 showing that my B12 level was at 1509 in ref range of 191 - 663. This was 2 weeks after a 3 x monthly B12 injection. At the same time my intrinsic factor was tested and found to be normal

Pasteur and Bechamp
Been reading the past few nights about the work of Bechamp and all the issues surrounding vaccination and Pasteur's germ theory. Had to laugh last night when I came across a bit that was, I think, about an anthrax test. This test wasn't particularly accurate and somebody back then said, "What use is

Hi All - I'd like to suggest an alternative strategy for some of you to get diagnosed and treated for PA based on tests for one of the other "fringe benefits" of this dreadful disorder that many of you probably didn't even realize you have: gastritis accompanied by IFA (intrinsic factor antibodies)

Dear friends, You have seen my earlier posts. After 3 months LCHF, I managed to make remarkable improvement in HBA1C and LIPDS. My over all goal is to improve it further in this next 3 months but also with reducing or eliminating medicines. Repeating some information here so that you dont have to go

Still frustrated after Gadtroscope
After vomiting black tar and passing it in the Summer I was given an emergency Gastroscopy which found I had lots of polyps. For months all I could eat was yogurt and Ready Break. After contacting the PA Society I was given the name of someone at Royal Liverpool hospital and I saw someone with the same

Autoantibodies and depression: evidence for a causal link?
We see a lot of people here with, either currently or in the past, depression. It is often suggested and believed that inappropriate thyroid hormone levels can cause depression. This might well be true - but this paper suggests that elevated antibodies might be a cause. Mind, give current attitudes

New kid on the block
Hi guys, about 8 days ago I was diagnosed with pernicious anaemia by my new doctor. Intrinsic factor was negative and b12 level was 154. I've since had 3 intramuscular injections. I am now supposed to give myself 2 more this week, then 1/ week for 4 weeks. Then start monthly, then 3 monthly. It's crazy

Low TSH & Low FT4
I had a baby a year ago (11/13) and recovered really well at first after a natural birth and no apparent complications. I started eating healthily and walking an hour a day after my 6 week check in January. I lost weight and was getting fitter again. I started taking the oestrogen based Yasmin pill in

Recovery stagnating. What now?
Hello all. I'm a 30 year old male living in the US. Five months ago, I zeroed in on B-12 deficiency as the most likely culprit of my four years of slowly worsening symptoms. The symptoms seemed to match up better than anything else I'd researched, and I know that my great-grandfather had PA starting

Hi When I look back my symptoms started about 4-5 months ago. Exhaustion, painful feet, knees, night sweats, hot body temp during the day, mouth ulcers, diarrhoea on and off for no reason, swollen ankles and feet, stiff legs and feet on a morning. But I put all that down to working full time, 46 yrs
