Methotrexate & Co-Trimoxazole (Septrim Forte) advice needed about taking both
Addenbrookes put my husband (he has WG) on Methotrexate and he was already on Bactrim/Septrim Forte/Co-Trioxazole. He's on 15mg Meth per week and 160mg/800mg Co-Trioxazole 3 times per week. The Meth booklets said you should not take Co-Trioxazole with it but when I asked Addenbrookes, they said it

Fido, my Alsatian
He's prescribed 30:500
Co
-
codamol
(a beautiful drug that doesn't shift the pain so much as takes away my ability to care - used with extreme caution for this reason!), and 10mg amitriptyline, which appears to be causing mild dizziness and postural hypotension.

Painkillers
At present I am not on any painkillers. I was on Co-dydramol, which my GP suddenly took off me, not sure why. So without anything to take the edge off the pain life is a living nightmare. I was wondering what painkillers, if any, your GP has tried you on for FM. It might give me some idea for when I

Menopause or Fibromyalgia
about 14 months ago I went to my GP as my back and shoulder was really painful she gave me some
co
codamol
to this day I am still on it. Over the months my symptoms are getting worse and the more I research Fibromyalgia the more I'm convinced I may have it.

Has anyone else been addressed directly from incapacity for this new benefit?
I had difficulty walking before, but now have frozen shoulder aswell as knee and back problems so walking even with strong

is agony. I can't cook meals as I can't use crutches and carry or stand for long and the Fibromialgia leaves me in constant pain and exhausted most of the time.
