pain relief after laparoscopy?
will not provide a prescription for pain relief after the laparoscopy as all that should be necessary are 'simple pain relief' - paracetamol and ibuprofen, which can be bought. i can't take ibuprofen as it makes me sick (though mefanamic acid doesn't, weird, so i'd be stuck with just paracetamol as

Mum recently diagnosed with inoperable PC
10th April was the worst day of my 21 years so far. Mum had recently been to the doctors with uncomfortable pains round her belly and back. She was sent for an endoscopy and CT scans. 2 days after the CT scan she got a phone call from a doctor at Treliske Hospital in Truro to say he has some news and

More endo found 6 months after a total abdominal hysterectomy. More surgery or not??
I've gone from taking no medication 6 months ago to taking naproxen,
co
codamol
, zopclone, along with a combined HRT which both gyna says is a MUST cause of my age, and other risk to my health. Epson salts baths and my hot water bottle are my current best friends.

Anyone on stronger pain meds than tramadol please? Advise needed regarding pain management.
I am finding that tramadol doesn't work as well as it used to so I also take strong
co

codamol
. I was referred to pain management a while ago but they don't seem to have a clue what I am talking about. My pain certainly isn't managed and my mobility is also affected, I can't walk far at all.

Hello, I wonder if anyone can help me. I was diagnosed as severely hypo in January and had really low readings of TSH 123 (range 0.2-0.5)
However, the symptoms have slowly been returning and now if I do not take ibuprofen,
co
-
codamol
and amitryptiline then I am getting the chronic muscle ache. The brain fog and slurred words are also returning and I am constipated and very tired - falling asleep at 8.00pm.

It's go, go, go with Rituximab.
Having to take Nurofen and
Co
-
Codamol
(although that doesn't really help and is highly addictive). Have the pins taken out of my toes next week so after that, assuming no infection and there isn't at present, will arrange to have a steroid injection to bring down the inflammation.
