Joint and bone aching pain
Last week I was prescribed
Co
-
codamol
, Naproxen and Omeprazole which I am taking (along with my usual Glucosamine & Chondroitin MSM, Cod liver oil, Calcium and vitamin D). Applying heat to a particularly sore area helps a bit, but was wondering if anyone has any other advice which might help.

Ever heard or tried Nefopam?
bit without wincing I’ve taken a couple and not sure, the doctor says to keep taking the
co
codamol
30/500mg with them - although I really wanted not to continue with the codiene as didn’t want to get addicted as I felt they worked same as paracetamol which = minimal relief!

Pain killer advice
I am currently taking
co
codamol
30/500 and naproxen, these are my everyday meds, the problem is I think I need something when the pain gets unbearable, the doctor keeps suggesting tramadol but I’m worried this will be too strong, is anyone on tramadol or something similar that helps?

So far not so good
I’ve been given
co
codamol
too but I’m reluctant to take them when I need to drive and work. My appointment isn’t until March, 5 months from referral 😩 initially it was May but the asthma reaction brought it forward..... Can anyone suggest anything that might help me until March?
