OCD therapy
Hello everyone. Has anyone tried EMDR for their OCD? I know ERP is usually the first line of treatment but my therapist only offers the former. I’m just wondering if anyone has tried it and what the results were. Thanks for any help or advice. Eddie

Abnormal cells on cervical smear whilst on Buserelin.
Hi All Im not really sure where to begin on here, I am feeling so deflated. I am currently waiting to restart drugs for my FET (date not confirmed) after my last implant date was cancelled 3 days before. I am doing IVF PGD due to a genetic condition my husband has. I had my usual cervical screening

Every morning I get up early and read the messages from Adaa that have helped me. Sometimes I feel tired of carrying the weight of depression, but I encourage her and I improve. A hug.s

Depression after postpartum psychosis
Hi, I'm currently in a mbu. I am really struggling and this sounds awful but I don't want to look after my son with me or my daughter. Everyone keeps telling me it will get better but I'm so low atm it seems difficult to see a way out or any light. I feel guilty for the way I'm feeling :( This depression

Suggestions Please
I suffer from depression which gets severe at times and my husband doesn't understand depression and gets frustrated and angry with me. I've tried to explain it to him and have given him articles to read but he just doesn't understand. I feel so alone. Any ideas?

Pace lesson learned
There has been a lot about pace and distance in the chat recently here’s my story… I graduated 3 months ago and have done 3 Parkruns so far (what a great organisation!) I was determined to go faster on my second PR. Big mistake! Took me about 20 minutes to realise I was struggling, my breath wasn’t

anticoagulant and injections for Macular degeneration?
I am on anticoagulant for Afib, I just had a 2nd injection for wet macular degeneration. I am concerned about how safe I am with taking these two drugs? Please let me know your thoughts as I am worried!

Preparation for surgery
Hello, I am due to have surgery for a macular hole in my left eye, in the next couple of weeks. Please could anyone advise me on what equipment is the most helpful to help with 'posturing', whichI have to do for a week. I am feeling pretty daunted by the whole thing!

Depressed before vacation trips?
I don’t understand. I’m driving to Seattle with a friend tomorrow and spending 1 week in Washington which should be fun but I am feeling so depressed. I almost don’t even want to go and I don’t know why. I’ve gone on a trip with this friend before and it was fun, but we both have completely different

Happy New Year to you my fellow travelers, patients and caregivers alike. I send hope that 2023 brings answers to your disease and it’s challenges. The names of those we lost to lung cancer this year are not all known but they will not be forgotten. Their words and their lives remain alive on this board

Pomi-T vs Pom Juice
I take 1 cup of Pom Juice most days based on the study attached. Doesn't taste great but I mix it with 1/2 c of Beet Juice. All organic. I have seen some talk about using the supplement Pomi-t. When I read the studies, too my non-scientific brain, it certainly looks like Pom Juice is the better of the

High risk treatment - go conventional or experimental?
Hello Folks, Lots of great posts and discussions on this site. I thought I'd come aboard and get some feedback. 58 yrs old great health except for Gleason 4+4 = 8, in 3/6 biopsy cores (one side of prostate). Not sure why they only took 6 cores. PSA 24.1 back in November. Did a bone scan and a question

Is vision loss always permanent?
Is it always the case that any vision loss due to glaucoma is permanent? My son (diagnosed with juvenile open angle last year, now aged 20) has a grey blurred area in the centre of one of his eyes and a trip to A&E showed his perssure to be 63 in the affected eye and 50 in the other. Following an emergency

Sertraline Initial Side Effects
My boyfriend was on Zoloft 50mg when we met. Life was going good so he quit this past October. He decided a week and half ago to go back on it. He upped his dose in my opinion too quickly. He did 2 days of of 25 mg and then last Tuesday he jumped into 50mg. He slowly distanced himself from me and now

allergic to eye drops
is anyone else allergic to ALL the eye drops? Had xalacom and xalatan for years, no problem. Then changed several times and ended up with cosopt and monopost. Eyes became swollen, red itchy. Changed to preservative free with the same reaction. Have retried most of the others with the same result. It

Depressive episodes returning
Hello everyone. Long story short: I’ve been struggling with depression for 6-7 years. However, I thought my thoughts and beliefs were normal until I was diagnosed last year. I started taking anti depressants and wow – my life started to get back on track and I even felt truly happy. I even enjoyed

Incessant itching driving me crazy
I was diagnosed with SLE and APS around 25 years ago ; although I reckon I've had both for most of my life ; I'm 74. Over the years I've had a number of DVT's and a PE and I'm on life long Warfarin. I was on Hydroxy. but was taken off this due to it causing vision problems. The most persistant problem
