Is it dangerous to TTC with a TSH of 0.24 and fT4 of 20?
Sorry, I have already posted this question, but I have ordered a medichecks test since and I won't get the results back before my next fertile window. I want to know if it is dangerous to TTC if I'm now overmedicated? I've not tried to get pregnant again since I had a miscarriage in september as I was

Blood results
Hi again. I've just collected the print out from the docs. Based on these results the doc has said my Levo should be changed from 50mcg to 100mcg. Any advice greatly appreciated. Does the presence of TPO mean I likely have Hashimoto's? TSH 5.42 mu/L (0.3-5.0) T4 11.3 pmol/L (7.9-16.0) T3 4.8 pmol/L

Levothyroxine and cycle
Hi everyone I started levothyroxine for my underactive thyroid a month ago (TSH 4.2 TPO 99.5, not sure on others at this time). After taking the meds, I’ve noticed two changes in my cycle: 1. It lasted 27 days instead of the usual 30 (I am normally 30 like clockwork) 2. During ovulation (took OPK and

Any answers to this please?
I was hypothyroid for three years . Diagnosed Hashimoto. ( Tpo 180. ) December 2021 Hyperthyroidism diagnosed, Graves (TRab antibodies 4.6 ). Currently on Carbimazole. So if this is what happens You are hypothyroid, it's physically impossible for your thyroid to regenerate and you become hypERthyroid

Action Plan going forward and are these supplements ok?
Hi, Just an update, I am booked in for a phone consult with my GP later this week, so I am hoping to ask to be re-prescribed levo due to TPO antibodies >1300, TSH 4.65, FT4 13.6 and FT3 4.6. If GP won't re-prescribe it, I am going to ask them to contact Gynae (who I am on a waiting list to see due to

Pernicious Anaemia Blood Tests
Hi, I'm looking at the Medichecks pernicious anaemia blood test, and I realise I've had most or all of these tested already and can post the results below. Can anyone help me interpret them please? I'm waiting for a GP call over the next couple of days, and was going to request a test to rule Pernicious

Underactive thryoid
Hi All, Hoping you can offer some advice. Recently been told I have sub clinical hypothyroidism (TSH 4.3 and TPO 99.5). I've been prescribed 25mg of levothyroxine, the GP was resistant but we want to try for a baby soon and so they did prescribe. Has anyone had any experience with this? Slightly concerned

TPO antibodies and pregnancy
I am pregnant and have Hashimoto's, and have seen a dramatic decrease in my TPO antibodies, which I think has also made me feel better. I have read that there is immune suppression during pregnancy, so my question is whether my TPO's will rise again after I give birth or there is a possibility that they

Hi all, I've not posted on here in a really long time and would be grateful for some thoughts. I was previously prescribed 50mcg levothyroxine due to high tpo antibodies and gynae advice to keep tsh at or below 2.0 due to recurrent miscarriages. I actually took myself off the levothyroxine due to struggling

TPO levels
Hello, After my last bloods I went to see Endo on Friday who up my Levo dose from 50 and 75 to 75 daily + 100 on Sundays. But I forgot to ask her about TPO which I was tested for at the end of Oct but not on the last test in December. The levels were then 29. I was never diagnosed with Hadhimotos. Does

Hyperthyroidism or Hypothyroidism?
Hi, not sure if anyone can help me out with this but I have had quite a few different blood tests in the last 8 weeks and they seem to contradict themselves a little. In December I had raised T3, low TSH which I know is consistent to Hyperthyroidism. I had further blood tests yesterday and they have

Underactive Thyroid, Hashimoto, Anaemia or none of the above
Any thoughts on the below please? I am considered normal but hoping to see an Endo specialist privately. I do have some more blood test results re: blood count but thought these might be the key ones. Can add if needed Creatinine 83 (range 53 - 97) Calcium 2.41 mmol (no normal range) CKD 75ml/min/1.73m2

Fluctuating Antibodies???
Hi everyone. As some of you remember I’ve been trying to get an official diagnosis of Autoimmune hypothyroidism (Hashimoto) as the Gp only wrote subclinal hypo so far. My problem is that I’ve done blue Horizon test and I was positive for TG antibodies but negative for TPO. But when the NHS tested

Thyroid Function Tests
Hello, I got a ANA blood test in Nov/Dec, as I wanted to get the ball rolling with a long term health concern (not thyroid). Unknown to myself, a TPO was also included in this test, which came back at >500. After reading further and recommendations on here, I got thyroid function tests as the next step

GP tested FT3! Advice needed, Graves now Hashi's?
My gp got the lab to add on FT3 yesterday and as I have hypo symptoms she said she will prescribe 25mcg levothyroxine. However, I have Graves disease and am worrying that this will make me go hyper again or, do I now have Hashi’s? History: Diagnosed with Grave’s and thyroid eye disease 1996 18 months

Looking back
I am late 60's & have had RLS for as long as I can remember & started out on Pergolide as I was experiencing minor irritation in the autumn/winter months so treated them like I would for any headache - popped a pill when I needed it. Later I was told how great Ropinirole was, so switched & took it
