High TPO levels - new to all of this…advice appreciated
Sorry for my lack of knowledge but this is all new to me…my 15 year old daughter has been suffering from muscle aches, joint pain, fatigue and loosing hair for ages. Her bloods have come back as antibody thyroid peroxide as 145 the first test and 125 3 months later. Her TSH is7.5. Can anyone shed some

I now have Hashimotos, reducing the carbimazole from being hyper. My TSH and T4 has returned to normal and expected to go hypo and Levothyroxine to be prescribed after next blood test, my TPO is more than 1300, energy zero! Even though it’s a member of the nightshade family does anyone have experience

Anti-tg high, low TPO
Anti-tg high at 120. Anti-tpo low <4 Hi guys, can anyone shed some light on why I might have these results? I’m being treated with Levothyroxine as my TSH was 3.5 and for fertility need around 1. But these immunes were a bit of a shock. Thanks guys

What went wrong?
I’ve been using Bentyl and it’s worked so well until this weekend; I’ve had to use the bathroom so much at school and I really don’t want to miss any more class, why is it interfering with my life again?

Not so subclinical hypothyroidism
As per great advice on here, I'm taking vitamin D3 spray and also did my own results to include T3 and to baseline before I start on any medication. At 8:30am before eating. My TSH did indeed go up to over 10 as was suggested may happen. FT4 similar but I was previously told -ve for antibodies,

Help with latest bloods?
Following a blood test where I was advised I had high TPO antibodies I saw a private endo, blood showed hashimotos however he said blood indicating I was likely to go overactive although symptoms suggest underactive. He requested further bloods and have the results today Serum Cortisol - Normal 701nmol

TPO Antibodies have risen since starting Thyrax medication...also experiencing symptoms of shortness of breath, irritability, spasms..
Is any of this normal? Been on 50mg of Thyrax for 6 months now and severer anxiety still, which I think has worsened...all other symptoms above which I researched are side effects of this medication. I've been managing my hashimotos naturally for 5 years until I had an accident where a horse bit half

Over Medicated & Under Medicated....and Tinnitus
My GP surgery have been fairly good listening to me (seeing various different DR's). After feedback in late summer of 2020, and agreeing to get my TSH down towards 1 (as I still felt lousy), they prescribed me 125mcg of levo (I'm about 92kg). Then winter Covid hit and it was impossible to get a GP appointment

Newbie here! Please help!
I am very new to this… looking for some advice please. I went to the doctors with hair loss, unintentional weight loss (2 stone), a fast heart rate and a skin rash. On closer inspection the doctor said there was clear evidence of alopecia, a clear goitre and took my heart rate at 160-170. He took my

Possible Borderline Hypothyroidism
Hi, I am new to this forum but after test results reading all I can. After not feeling well for a couple of years after a major op I asked my GP for an iron test. Iron was fine, but she also tested for thyroid which I have never had before. Reading other posts and articles, it looks like I could

Genetic testing confirms CC DIO2 from both parents
Hi All Genetic testing has revealed that I have a CC allelle on the DIO2 gene from both parents, as well as a down-regulated DIO1, SNPs on my CTLA4 autoimmunity gene from both parents, and an up-regulated FOXE1 antibody gene (I have Hashimotos). I am on the waiting list to see a new Endo (one from

Has anyone tried low dose naltrexone? How did it go for you?
Apparently it can lower TPO antibodies, which in my case, even after removing gluten, dairy and soy, are very high (960). Has anyone tried this?

New Hashimoto’s diagnosis and autoimmune paleo diet, any advice?
The last few years I have experienced increasingly bad hypothyroid symptoms, then in July 2021 I went into thyrotoxicosis and became really unwell. I was signed off work and unable to do most things for myself. The last couple of months have been about rebuilding my stamina and phasing back into work

Labs and medication dosage question
Hey all. I know you aren’t doctors, and I do have a thyroid dr, but she’s not my actual dr,( she costs thousands of dollars) BUT she has been nice enough to give me some medication recommendations as I had her on my podcast. I’ve had a night mare of a week with my other thyroid dr who basically told

Hashimotos with suppressed TSH - advice please
I would be really grateful if someone could give me some advice. I was diagnosed with severe thyroid failure in March. My TSH was 74. It's now suppressed at under 0.01 and I can't get it to budge up. I'm due a test in about 2-3 weeks. I don't see a doctor ever and I feel pretty rough - starving hungry

Finally more thyroid results! Is this Hashi's?
Hi everyone, Thank you again so much for your input on my last post (https://healthunlocked.com/thyroiduk/posts/147096003/results-advice-please). I now have an update. I told my doctor when I saw him that I seem to have most of the symptoms of Hashimoto's and that my mum and cousin have this and asked
