Day 9- HCG trigger shot
Hey guys, just another quick update. I've been in a tizzy the last couple of days. When I was getting my medications, they told me not to get my Lupron trigger yet because it's only good for 14 days, after which you have to discard it, used or unused. Fast forward, after my weekend baseline ultrasound

Failed pregnancy
So I had my 6 week scan on Sunday and they couldn’t find the sac. My HCG levels are dropping. Looks like the embryo stopped growing. I’m so gutted it didn’t work out this time. It was our first fresh transfer, so I feel lucky we got a positive. It was my first ever positive result. We have been trying

Avoid topiramate and give up dairy instead
God no. If you weren't in school, have a job, or have any responsibilities, then I'd say take this med. You will feel like your head is in a cloud and can't even remember what you had for breakfast, let alone remember everyday things. My suggestion is to give up all forms of dairy for 30 days and

Topiramate
I've been taking topiramate now for about 4 months as a preventative for my migraines & have found it to be a great relief, started slowly now on 3 tablets a day. Found did cause insomnia but by taking 2 tablets am & the second before 8pm has helped with this. It's helped with keeping my weight down

Newly Diagnosed, W&W, yearly visits?
Hi i was recently diagnosed a week ago, my MBL crossed over the 5000 threshold, and now officially RAI 0. Flow/FISH was done, im 13q deleted, ZAP70 and CD38 negative. Doc (oncologist) said it most likely be 10-15 years before i would need treatment, and said he is putting me on yearly checkups. I know

Bleeding in early pregnancy- is this the end? Please help!
Just woke up to find i’m bleeding like a period when I wipe. Really worried. Is this the start of a miscarriage? Not cramping right now but have had some crampy feelings yesterday. Not too bad, thought more pregnancy related pulling type sensations. I’m 5+1 today. We put two embryos in and my hcg was

Constant migraines!
Does anyone else have constant migraines please? I have suffered migraines since I was 18 (I am now in my 60’s). These were about 3 times a year. But for the last 2/3 months I am getting them every week, sometimes twice a week. I have spoken to my GP who sent me for a MRI which came back clear.

What to expect after two failed IVF cycles
Hello all and happy new year I hope 2021 brings everyone lots of great news I had a fresh 3 day embroyo transfer back in July 2020 which resulted in BFN. Success stories after two early miscarriages
2020 just seems to be a blur. We started our IVF journey this time last year and was so hopeful. We were lucky to get six top quality embryos (all 5 and 4 graded). Initially, we thought everything was going so well, our fresh transfer gave us our first ever BFP then a week later I miscarried. Because

Continuous headaches
For the last couple of weeks I have been suffering from continuous headaches. Common painkillers are no longer working for me and it seems the pain is becoming chronic. I don't know if it is fibromyalgia or it is because I have had personal problems and I have very stressed and tired. Do any of you

Hi brave people, I have just joined this forum and sympathise with those that can't get some relief. The blood to my brain was blocked off on one side for a few hours 12 years ago (Carotid Artery dissection) then 2 years later had meningitis, so my poor brain has had a bit of a bashing. I never had

Kidney Biopsy and igA nephropathy (UPDATE POST-BIOPSY)
Hi. I am due for a kidney biopsy next week and wasn't given much tips on what to prepare or not do post biopsy other than stay in bed for 6hrs. Doctor told me that I might have igAn based on my proteinuria and high hematuria. I am very concerned as I am only 24 years old and a female trying to start

SUGGESTIONS?
I started treatment (B+R) at the end of this past January for 6 months, the results were very good and my oncologist said he would probably start me on a 2 year maintenance program in 3 months of Rituximab every 3 months. I went back to see him after the 3 months and most of my blood work was good except
