Is an HCG level of 45 too low?

Hi ladies,

I had my first HCG blood test today, 9dp a 5dt. The reading was only 45, which seems a little low. I have to go back tomorrow to test again and check it’s gone up, but I could do with some positive stories about low HCG numbers in the meantime please!

That’s seems like a v early blood test? Are they repeating it?

My OTD is tomorrow, but I tested early on Sunday and when I told the clinic they said to come in, given my history of recurrent miscarriage. But I think it's now causing far too much anxiety! x

It seems to early but that’s why it’s so low cause it’s to early but hopefully it will double or go higher tomorrow I’m sure stay positive congrats

Do you know what day other clinics test on? Really hoping it's just that I'm early x

I tested on day 9, but used abnormal pregnancy test, I was told to retest 2 days later to confirm the result. I didn’t bother having bloods done

Hi , I tested Saturday past at 10p5dt and tested again today and it dropped from 49 to 44Hanging on as well

Although something tells me it’s over

Hi, my HCG was only 39 at 8dp5dt and this resulted in my daughter. It sounds as though it's just a bit early. Good luck!
