Knuckles
I don’t often post. I read everything to try and get a better understanding of what’s happening to my body and why. But I need some advice, so here goes. The knuckles on my right hand have been painful, inflamed and burning hot for a couple of weeks now. The redness doesn’t go away. I’ve tried ice packs

Spring, and unusual weather
Think here in Midlands have early spring, my prunus cherry tree is in full bloom, pigeons eating flowers, hardy fuchsias in leaf, whilst snowdrops crocus etc still flowering beautifully. Lucky not to have had flooding where I live. Blue tits have been going into their box since before Christmas, can

In the continuing saga of trying to get a priority PCR test and letter does anybody know the exact SNOMED code For CLL that has to be on your medical records in the UK for you to get a priority PCR test and letter from NHS England? I am going round and round in circles being pushed from 119 back to

Accessing new treatments against COVID19 and priority PCR home test kits
Blood Cancer UK have sent me a survey "With an increase in Omicron cases, we know it's an understandably worrying time for people with blood cancer. That's why we've launched a new survey about blood cancer and vaccines, access to new treatments, and employment" I cannot direct you to this with a direct

Headaches and neck pain
Hi first time posting and looking for some advice. I suffered a SAH (Subarachnoid haemorrhage) in June this year. After 11 days I was allowed to come home. Recovery has been slow and steady but I’m having horrible neck pain to the point where I think I need more pain meds and am using tiger balm for

*Sensitive* - Wake me up ❤💫
Is this real? I'm in so much shock right now. After 7 long years this is the first positive test we have ever seen. I've had no symptoms up until this afternoon before I tested. Bad cramps (worried already) and backache. HCG results tomorrow. Feel like I'm in a dream. I can't thank you all enough for

CGRP 3rd Month- Ajovy
I am going on 3 injections now and it seems to be helping. I've not had a severe headache in months. I still have migraines- chronic and hemiplegic but there's less brain fog and people have noticed the difference saying I am more bubbly and present. I am having more clear days free of migraines too!

17dp5dt hcg 94 - low?
Hi 👋 So much anxiety getting to BFP and it just continues! After pushing my GP I got a blood test (see my other posts on continuous faint line on tests). My hcg was 94 for 17dp5dt (4 weeks 5 days). Is this too low? I know it’s all about how it doubles (i have another test on Thurs) but I’m worried

What were your betas 11dp5dt?
Hey ladies, Sensitive post but our clinic rang yesterday and confirmed my HCG was over 800 that’s 11dp5dt. Happy that seems to be well within where they want it to be. Fingers crossed this is our time 🙏🏼 What were your betas like after transfer? Not sure is that high/low or average. X

Faint line - what to ask clinic. Progesterone levels? Anything else?
Hi all, In case these faint lines are my pregnancy struggling, I want to make sure it has every chance of not resulting in an early miscarriage. Is there anything I can ask my clinic to test for to check we are doing all we can for it? Progesterone levels is the only thing I can think of. And getting

Update on my phone appt. with Neph. last Wed.
I found a study that oxygen can help
chronic
Migraine
. So maybe the Neuro can give me a prescription for that if there aren't any meds that will be safe. I can't imagine how pure oxygen through a nasal canula, or mask, could harm my kidneys. Well, that's the latest update.

What now!!
I have been having regular ocular migraines and this morning while walking the dog I had the worst dizzy attack ever. I couldn’t focus on anything and if my partner hadn’t provided a leaning post I would definitely have fallen Can anyone advise if this might be PMR related? Many thanks in anticipation
