CGRP 3rd Month- Ajovy

I am going on 3 injections now and it seems to be helping. I've not had a severe headache in months. I still have migraines- chronic and hemiplegic but there's less brain fog and people have noticed the difference saying I am more bubbly and present. I am having more clear days free of migraines too!

This may change one day, so for now I am enjoying the little more freedom it has given me.

I definitely recommend people to give this treatment a try. Just don't inject in stomach-the thigh is better!

That’s really great to hear. I’m glad you are doing better. I’ve had amazing success with Aimovig but insurance is making me switch to Ajovy. I’m hoping it’s just as effective.

Really glad u are improving on this! Interested to know why u recommend thigh not tummy injection. I had 3 injections to tummy and sadly didnt work for me at all.

Thanks Francesca-I reacted with a side effect via the stomach but none via thigh. It messed up my digestive system. sorry to hear that it didn't help for you but maybe a different one could help as there's like 3 or 4 to choose from?

I injected to my stomach when using the syringe but use the thigh for the injection pen.

I have just had one month of Aimovig and it hasn’t really worked at all. I’m hoping the second month will go better. Disappointed but still hopeful. 😞
