17dp5dt hcg 94 - low?

Hi 👋

So much anxiety getting to BFP and it just continues! After pushing my GP I got a blood test (see my other posts on continuous faint line on tests). My hcg was 94 for 17dp5dt (4 weeks 5 days). Is this too low?

I know it’s all about how it doubles (i have another test on Thurs) but I’m worried about what it was at OTD to only be 94 now? Thanks 🙏

That is lower than one would suspect at 22dpo (=17dp5ot)... It could be a so-called late implanter, but more likely it's just not a good sign. I'm sorry you have to go through this distress! I think it's wise to prepare for bad news after next test, but not lose hope completely. In this game it's not over 'till it's over!!! Big hugs ❤❤❤

Don’t give up hope yet. Try get a repeat from your GP, if they won’t, you can order one online with medichecks. Mine took a while to rise meaningfully. x

Thank you 💙 may i ask what your levels were? The more i read the more I think I’m just incredibly low for 5 weeks xx

That is a low number (mine had gone up to 373 by 15dp5dt from 32 and then 64) but from the mounds of reading I did around my own levels, there is no perfect score for those with low numbers. I know it’s a tough wait but if you can get a repeat in a couple of days, it will give you a bit of clarity. I had completely given up hope though I desperately wanted it to rise, it’s torture, so I will be crossing my fingers for you. x

GP asked me to do the bloods today so (hopefully) getting results tomorrow. Not feeling hopeful but have also felt super rubbish today so just wanting an answer now!

Oh, that waiting is just so crap! I'm lucky that my clinic is part of the public hospital here in town, so the arranged the betas for me, and I got the results in less than 3 hours. I would've peed in my pants several times those afternoons, or at least not slept much, if I had to wait until the next day for the results 🙈🙈🙈 Please keep us posted - we're hoping so much for you ❤❤❤

Down to 35 I’m afraid, so it’s a no-go for us. Seems like you can have major surgery, multiple rounds of IVF and then still have your dream snatched out from under your feet ☹️☹️ Sorry guys, just feeling really dramatic and cheated today. Thanks for all your support, this journey truly is just that bit easier with this community x

Sorry to hear this, Lolalules. I'm still waiting to hear back from my clinic. They said to do another home test, which is faint again. I just know this hasn't worked out. Sigh. I am also sad and angry - we work so hard for this and do everything, and still have an outcome like this! Probably in a similar headspace to you. Sending love. xx
