Low HCG 31
Hi everyone, I've had a very low hcg of 31 9 days post day 5 blastocyst transfer. Very mildly positive urine pregnancy test. My clinic wants me to continue the meds for 7 days. Feels like it will be a poor outcome with such a low reading. Has anyone got any experience of a low reading like this? Thanks

Confused with Beta results š¤Æ
Morning all, I had a Beta HCG done yesterday and it was 114535 and said 5-6 weeks. Yet on line it read 7weeks. So confusing. Iām assuming you go by implantation day. Stupid question I know š„°

PD and migraines and B2
Hello everyone ! I have PD since 2015, and Iād like to investigate the relationship with my migraines and more particularly the response to vitamin B2. You may know if you are / know a migraine sufferer that high dose riboflavin (vitamin B2) prevents migraines attacks. To cut a long story short, coenzyme

Blood test result is negative. Help needed with next steps.
Today was my OTD and it came negative. Wondering what are the questions I should ask my doctor in my follow up meeting with him? Some more details: I am 45 yo .Used donor eggs for this cycle. HCG number from the blood test is <1. What does that mean exactly . Will there be any risk in future cycle

***Sensitive*** Miracle natural BFP
I had my third miscarriage on 3rd March, then my period returned on 28th March. Yesterday I did a First Response pregnancy test and it was positive! I ran to my clinic for blood test. We just moved our last 2 blastocysts from the NHS to the private clinic and I was due a double transfer in May/June.

New daily persistent headache
Is there anyone out there with this?? If so is there anything that helps?? Or any trials upcoming? Iām at a loss, Iām on various other meds for many health quirks, I feel like I either get to live with a lil less pain and a massive continuous headache which peaks migraine or I get to try medications

10 Years With CLL: Two Trials & Lifesaving CAR T-Cell Therapy
I rarely cross post to Patient Power but today there is a story by a fellow CLL patient I have known for many years as DebinOz. She is one of the few I know of with a more aggressive form of CLL than mine. And I think she has more air miles than my 750,000 with United. Len - See: https://patientpower.info

Tapering off Topiramate
I have been on this medication since September '20 and eventually ended up on a dose of 200mg day which I reached in April '21. I am not happy about the side effects and am now cautiously tapering off the drug under my GP's supervision by reducing the amount by 25mg a week. I am 3 weeks in but am waking

At a Dialysis Crossroads
I have to decide whether to get a fistula in my arm and go with hemodialysis, or go with peritoneal dialysis. I spent a couple of hours in a center talking to a couple of nurses about peritoneal dialysis and it sounds like a bad choice given its near constant presence in your life. With hemodialysis

Looking for some advice, or to see if anyone has had a similar experience. Absolutely going out of my mind here š We had a 5 day transfer from ICSI on the 28th March (so 3 weeks ago). I got a positive at 9dpt, but started bleeding and cramping the same day. Clinic increased my progesterone, and told

Statement from NHS digital acknowledging CLL error in PCR codes
āSince we last spoke we have become aware of an issue where, due to human error, a single code used to identify CLL was accidentally excluded. We worked with Blood Cancer UK to get the communication out to those affected yesterday and letters and PCR kits have been dispatched, please find our statement

CLL patient cured a decade after gene therapy
In 2010, doctors treated Doug Olsonās leukemia with an experimental gene therapy that transformed some of his blood cells into cancer killers. So fed up with hair-loss from Armour
I guess this is part question: part post. Firstly, Iām SO incredibly fed up with the extreme hairloss from Armour. I know itās from the Armour because, 1- hairloss is one of the main side effects of the Med. 2: the hair loss started immediately upon starting the medication in October. I have photos
