I've had a very low hcg of 31 9 days post day 5 blastocyst transfer. Very mildly positive urine pregnancy test. My clinic wants me to continue the meds for 7 days. Feels like it will be a poor outcome with such a low reading. Has anyone got any experience of a low reading like this?
Thanks xxx

Not exactly the same numbers but I had my beta slightly later at 11 days post transfer and it was 83. It should be roughly doubling every 48 hours so mine wouldn’t have been far off your numbers at 9 days post transfer. Can you clinic do a repeat blood test in 48 hours? As long as the numbers are rising, it shouldn’t matter that it’s started on the lower side but I completely understand the worry, I was exactly the same. I’m currently one day overdue with that lower beta baby so I think some embryos are just slow starters, really hope that’s the case for you too xxx
If you need some hope, mine was 32 on 9dp5dt, and my two month old son is asleep on me in the train to meet his cousins. It is the hardest, longest wait seeing if it climbs but it can happen. Mine didn’t rise by much so I was in limbo as the clinic wasn’t happy with my numbers but a few days later it had jumped and I decided against doing more tests. I’ll be crossing everything for you. xx
Hi love,I have no experience to share (yet) but i had my HcG done today (9dp5dt) and came back as 32. Such a limbo now, but I have also been advised to continue meds and go back for another test on Tuesday. Best of luck to you too though! xxx
Hi everyone,Just an update. Sadly on the repeat blood test 7 days later the HCG had dropped to 10. I did pregnancy tests in between and watched the line get lighter which made me more upset. Guess it wasn't meant to be this time xxx
