Today was my OTD and it came negative. Wondering what are the questions I should ask my doctor in my follow up meeting with him?
Some more details: I am 45 yo .Used donor eggs for this cycle. HCG number from the blood test is <1. What does that mean exactly . Will there be any risk in future cycle even with donor eggs?
Appreciate any help or suggestion here.
Thanks!

In terms of questions, I always started with any potential reasons why it may not have worked and what will they suggest we do differently next time to improve your chances. Are there any further investigations that you need?
Hope you’re resting up and have good support around you. All the best xx
I think I would ask about what they recommended as the next steps. I think an HCG of less than one means no pregnancy hormones detected. I’m the same age and also using DE. I had a positive last summer but had a miscarriage a further transfer in October was also negative. Remember that even with donor eggs there is also a possibility that the embryo won’t develop. I would say try again and speak to your doctor about changes to medication or any further tests you could have. Good luck.xx
