MF for 30 years
Hello I was first diagnosed with MF in my late 30s when I had two young children. Mirtazapine
I've been doing some research on taking Mirtazapine when you suffer with COPD. I am quite anxious & feel quite stressed & last year while having a bad time with my COPD my Dr prescribed Mirtazapine, while taking this I felt I had more breath & felt able to cope better. Has anyone else tried this medication

Hi all, I’m new to this forum and looking for some positive vibes and support! I’m 8dpt, I had a 5AA grade hatching blastocysts transferred last Wednesday and 5 good quality embryos frozen so felt very grateful. Second round 🤞🏽 Long protocol using buserelin throughout cycle
Yayy Booked in for my second round of IVF after first round sadly failed, due to high progesterone at egg collection. Different protocol this time...instead of short protocol, I’m starting a long protocol. Just wondering if anyone has had similar protocol or any experience stories or advise. Start norethisterone

UK CLL Forum - updated post lockdown guidance for the management of CLL
During the height of the COVID19 pandemic the UK CLL Forum issued guidance on managing CLL patients. This guidance has now been updated with post lockdown guidance. Many of us will be disappointed to see that the first point is to continue to 'consider telephone or video conference appointments if feasible

How to tell young children
Hi, my husband is in the stages of being confirmed to have CLL. He already has CML which he is in remission with, and was diagnosed with when he 25 (now 38). We have a 3.5yrs son, and I was wondering if anyone has any tips how to approach the subject with him. He knows things are not right at home, and

15dp5dt BFP but no real symptoms
Hi lovelies, I am currently 15dp5dt and I have had two blood tests done, the first HCG was 101 and the second 48 hours later HCG had risen to 267 my doctor was really happy and said for reassurance they will do weekly blood tests until my first scan on the 07/12. Apart from tiredness and slightly swollen

On bone marrow biopsy (BMB)?
Hello everyone, People with PV/ET regularly (e.g., per month) test their blood to keep track of cell counts and other things. How about bone marrow biopsy (BMB)? Are there repeats of BMB test to check changes after the first one that was performed to detect any mutation like JK2 ? If yes, how the results

**** UPDATE***Ectopic 💔 My suspicions were confirmed this morning.
Hi folks my hcg levels are just 5000!!! I’m being taken for surgery immediately. Thanks for all your love and support. Think I’m in shock now as the tears have stopped. Hello everyone, Thank you for the yesterday however, my little lambie has implanted next to my ovary (they think) absolutely devastated

11dp5dt BFP with Faint Line
Hello All, Today was my OTD and I appear to have a BFP. Obviously very excited but also cautious as my last IVF cycle resulted in a chemical pregnancy. The test line is certainly much stronger than in my previous cycle and the clinic said that their test (which is the one pictured) can be harder to get

9dp5dt BFP
After all that emotional rollercoaster (with food poisoning on 6dp5dt), I’ve continued getting two lines and my clear blue digital says I’m 2-3 weeks pregnant! Can this be real? It’s still early days but fingers crossed 🤞I have attached a picture of how my lines progressed - there were definitely days

11 days post embryo transfer & no bleeding ok?
11 days post embryo transfer and no bleeding - - is that ok? but boobs are swollen & sensitive to touch. Did a home pregnancy test which I know I shouldn’t have as probably too early on hcg levels in urine and result is negative. Beta blood test organised for 14 days post transfer so will find out either
