Early blastocyst success- it does happen!
At this very moment I am freaking out big time, as my beta HCG shows I’m pregnant. Having had a mmc at 11weeks last March, I’ve learnt that a positive pregnancy test doesn’t mean much. Yes it means the embryo has implanted but it’s pretty much it. The road is very long and definitely treacherous. And

High HCG levels at six weeks? 75,312?
So I went to my clinic today for blood test as I had a small amount of spotting. My results came back at 75,312 - I’m six weeks 3 days - I had a 5dt on 5th November. They’ve asked me to come in for an early scan on Friday 4th (was meant to go on 11th) I’m panicking a bit. Can anyone offer any advice

Myelodyplastic Syndrome (MDS)
Hi. In my previous post I wrote about reaching a point 18months after completing FCR where my bone marrow stopped producing red cells. This got a diagnosis of MDS which was expected to be irreversible. After several months and 6 blood transfusions I'm thrilled to say my marrow is back in action and

Hello ladies So the nurse called with my results from my pregnancy test day (19dpo) and it came up at 5,750 🤔 I transferred 1 pgd frozen embryo. Positive test 5 days past transfer. Whilst I feel so grateful and happy to finally have high HCG levels after my chemical pregnancies I'm also worried that

Advice about 2ww (long post, sorry)
Hi all lovely ladies, I have been reading the forum for a couple of weeks when my IVF joirney begun. I'd like to make my first contribution by talking about the 2ww as I see it appears to be, by far, the most problematic part of the IVF process. The 2ww is stressful not just during IVF, also when TTC

HCG for Testosterone Recovery after ADT
Happy Thanksgiving Fine Gentlemen! Question... I had my last scheduled Eligard shot in early September. Originally was to be on it for 2 years as part of a clinical trial. As I’ve stated in another post, I had RP in June ‘19. 4+3 Gleason in about 2/3 of the cores in one side only. PSA 15.4 at diagnosis

Results of ERA
Hello all, Some people were keen to know my results from my ERA as they were either going through it themselves or thinking about it etc. So here goes: 1) The timing of the transfer is key and I need 6 full days of progesterone (not 5). 2) My lining isn’t happy- well I knew that to start with! The

Surgery vs. CyberKnife
Had another PET 9/1 and the tumor grew from 1/8-2.2cm in three months. The needle biopsy I had in June was 'inconclusive'. The thoracic surgeon I went to for a second opinion wants to take the top lobe of my right lung. I looked into CyberKnife and had a consult with a radiology oncologist. She said

Is there HCG in the Suprecur trigger?
Hi ladies, I caved in and did a pregnancy test 5dp5dt and am getting a positive. Before i jump for joy, I’m actually too scared to tell anyone because I know it’s very early and it could be a false positive from my trigger. I was given an “agonist trigger” called suprecur (0.5ml), I believe it’s also

Sleep problems
I am late stage four kidney disease with a GFR of 20. Recently I have had difficulties sleeping at night and wonder if that is common with people at my stage. If so what do you do about it as it adds to the overall feeling of fatigue. My doctor says I am too old for sleeping pills whatever that means
